By allowing sex offenders back on the streets instead of serving and protecting their citizens from real threats?Don't they have special agents that work with the control of drugs on the streets?I think there needs to be tougher laws in the case of Jessica Lunsford and as others. If some one wan'ts to throw their life away on drugs, that is their own business. But if some one is raped ,I think there should to be tougher laws against that. What is wrong with our justice system?

As a child of sex abuse I feel that justice was served , because I survived.

I agree with you i too am a victim of Sexual abuse,It seems that it is always in the news that a repeat offender has claimed more victims and in some horrible cases even went further and took the child's life ,It is way past time to start in forcing these laws.

It seems to me that the inmates want to continue to run the asylum - in other words, if strict mandatory sentences are imposed, it takes a lot of power away from the judges and trial lawyers.
There seems also to be a great number of judges who feel that rehabilitation (despite the statistics) is a better method of dealing with these dirt bags.
For what it's worth, I would advocate the death penalty for a second offense - no chance then for the same sicko to destroy yet another child's life.

For those calling Samian a liberal, I even have considered his responses in the two politics and faith for a while now. i could undertaking he's midsection-top on some themes and midsection-left on others. he's via no potential an extremist. this could be a puzzling question, because of the fact that my brother's daughter strengthen into molested. I desire I had an enterprise answer yet I lean in direction of unconstitutional, in basic terms like that teach-off choose some years in the past in FL who made DUI offenders game bumperstickers. and that i don't drink.

First they should start with enforcing the laws that we already have. Just writing the laws down but not actually following threw doesn't do anything. If it were up to me though, all crime of any kind would be punishable by death. Then what do you think the odds are of someone stealing a car, or doing illegal drugs, it would not be worth it, problem solved...

I totally agree with you, but, offenders have rights too. People make the laws. If enough people got together, and all agreed on one thing, then voted on it, you would have a change. Talk with one of your local politicians, and see what it would take to accomplish what you are asking.

From what I can tell, it is trial lawyers blocking Jessica's Law. Trial lawyers hate it because they can't pleabargain.
