water is water - Bible says nothing about "holy water"...this is something man made up, not of God. Prayer would accomplish more.

This is actually a good way to attract a demon into your life. By praying to any one other than the Holy Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Most High God, nyone or anything could answer.
Many people have suggested prayer here, but prayer without faith or a personal relationship with Christ is repulsive to God, the Father, so I would first recommend reading the Bible and finding out what God has to tell you about living. The New Living Translation of the Bible is the easiest to get started with.
Finally, and I saved the best in this for last: Know that when Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior said as they were nailing him to the cross "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do," He was talking about you and me. It was our sin that nailed Him to the cross. A good man, a truly good man who spent His time healing people and delivering messages of hope was put to death for no legal reason. Rather, He voluntarily died so that might be restored to the father.

where did you get that water can be holy? At least Christianity and Judaism and Islam doesn't have it. Catholocism teaches that a priest can declare water to be holy and sprinkle it on people in a form of blessing. However, this is a misleading belief. Only God can make things holy.

All you need to do is----Draw the water into a bowl, glass whatever, pray over the water. Ask God to bless it and make it holy. That is it.

Holy water has been blessed by the spiritual leader of the community. You can ask your minister or priest to do it.
You may wish to try anointing oil instead- good olive oil with some myrrh or balsam, cinnamon, and myrtle or sweet sedge soaked in it (or with drops of similar essential oils added.)
While the Bible does not have a specific ritual for blessing a home by yourself (you can certainly invite your priest or pastor over to do it), many people do things along the line of putting a dab of anointing oil on the doorways and ask blessings on all who enter.

I don't know that you can make holy water dear.
You can anoint the sick with oil. They used pure virgin olive oil to anoint the sick or there homes with. Oil was placed on a prayer cloth and placed on the sick person.
I will ask a question on this but I may just receive mockery. I will try for you.

I don't think you can 'make' holy oil. What I do is, I get some olive oil from the store and get my Pastor or someone I truly know that lives the life and have them to bless it. Then you have blessed oil/holy water. May God Bless U.

Holy water is made with a specific ritual, too lengthy to post here, by ordained clerics. You can obtain small vials of holy water from any Catholic Church if you show up with a small vial and ask nicely.

It is not Holy water you anoint with it is the oil, get some olive oil, and say a prayer over and ask God to bless the oil and anoint it for blessings, and then put it over your door ways and pray the blessing over your home and then dab it on your forehead and everybody you can get it on and God will bless them, it is his anointing oil, read James 5.

You can go to the diocese shop and buy Catholic holy water, this works for non-Catholics too as it is blessed and pure. To make Pagan holy water, you get water add about a dime size of uniodized salt, measured in your hand. You stir it with a wooden spoon, or you ceremonial knife, 13 times in a clock wise direction. The use the spoon or knife to draw a pentacle (5 pointed star) in a circle and either dedicate the mix to your personal god/dess, a deity of home and hearth (Hathor or Hera, etc) or generically to "The God and Goddess" or "Lord and Lady".
