i'm black yet my hair is lower than mid-decrease back length (has been a lot longer in my youthful years), very thick, gentle, and healthful, yet there are countless clarification why that's. for most black women human beings, that's a blend of factors why many bw look to have stunted and undesirable hair. a million) one aspect is genetics…each so often it makes issues a lot a lot less confusing with a good starter kit yet this isn't continually needed. 2) healthful food plan can also impression/change genetics. This section maximum black women human beings do not opt to take care of because it takes to a lot attempt to devour ideal or in a way that creates optimum situations for nice hair boom. they'd somewhat pop supplements or devour even with is available and flavor good even with the shortcoming of nutritional fee. 3) lack of workout. the middle isn't pumping blood and getting it flowing strongly in factors good advance hair boom. 4) a lot less ideal hair care practices. Granted, bw do spend numerous time and challenge with their hair. yet many don't comprehend that an exceedingly organic approach is the most ideal for black hair. No harsh chemical compounds jointly with relaxers and no commercial hair products. thoroughly organic and organic products are staggering for bw hair. you'll get them at your objective, TJ Max, Ross, on line, and so on. would not might want to be at a well being food keep each of the time, which will nicely be out of ways for some bw. also, wearing numerous tight, contorted hair sorts that pull the hair out the scalp and damage it off would not help. at the same time as BW have maximum if no longer all of this issues going for them, they'd have attractive healthful heads of hair. till then, that's going to be a non-stop cycle of putting a bandage over a wound that by no potential has a hazard to heal.

This is a hard question because being someone who is a hairstylist, I wish my hair was long and beautiful but I can't keep the scissors out of it long enough. May I suggest the option of putting your hair up in a french twist and using a clip that way people won't bother you as much because they can't see how long your hair is then when you want you can (let your hair down) or take the clip out anyway then you might be more comfortable in public.

Perhaps you could thank them for the compliment and then politely tell them that it really creeps you out when people touch without asking first, much the same as if they had touched your lips without asking first and then said "Oh I love your lips" . Perhaps this person hasn't been made aware of the fact that people have their own personal space which they do not enjoy to have others invade without an invitation.

There is a proverb in my cummunity that hair is the crown of a woman.Fortunately you have very long hair which is very rare todays. So people keep coming up and touching it.They want to know the smoothness of your hair or maybe they want to know whether it is a real hair or only a false hair (wigs).I think most their hands are clean. You must thank them and give them a sweet smile, because they admire you. and love your hair.If you do not want someone to touch your hair you must cover it with scarf..

I guess people never grow up. Little girls in grade school are harassed by others pulling their long pigtails. My daughter became so frustrated in the second grade that she took her paper scissors and cut her plaits off!
This wasn't a proper solution then and cutting your hair is not a solution now. I suppose it is up to you to teach these people manners. Tell them very politely to please keep their hands off your hair.
My hair is not long but I too am sometimes bothered by people who think it is okay to touch my hair. When I catch them, they are complementary. I do not smile while saying thank you. i then tell them that it is considered ill-mannered to touch other peoples hair without their permission.

If it is unusually long, I think people just are being inconsiderate in their curiosity.
Nothing you can really do about that except wear a sign that says "touch my hair and die" or "the next person to touch my hair gets touched with a vengence." Something like that.

In some cultures, touching long or certain colored hair is lucky. It wigged me out, my first time in Mexico, when polpe were toughting my hair. If strangers were coming up to me I would say, "Thank you, but I would rather you didn't touch my hair."

In a world of extensions, I am sure they just find it refreshing to see someone with the real deal. Try not to let it get to you. I can assure you they don't mean anything by it. But after that if you still dislike it, just let them know in a pleasant way. Say I appreciate it but I a self conscious about people touching my hair. I don't mean any disrespect. May God Bless U.

As weird as it may seem, it actually a compliment. Long hair, if taken care of, is very pretty. It happens to me all the time too. At first I got freaked out, but as my hair got longer I got more used to it. So, unless people start pulling out scissors aroung you, I dont think you really have to worry.
