has anyone seen the new ford edge!!!!!!!?

if so what do you all think, i think its a great looking car and it will probebly get ford motor company back where they need to be.

Hey Mikey- I agree with you, The Edge is great looking. but as they say..."Beauty is only skin deep"
You need to go out & test drive this beauty! It's even better than it looks!

As for the other comments:
The price of the SEL Plus (top of the line trim level) it is less expensive than it's competitors top of the line trim levels.

And about the grill.... it is Bold & Agressive & it IS the new look for all Fords ! You will see a variation of that same chrome grill on all the new Fords
The Fusion already has it & the '08 Escape (already out) has it. The next couple cars to be released, (08 Taurus, '08 Focus) will also have it.
So will the new Trucks & Suv's.('07 Expedition & '08 SuperDuty's already have a similar chrome bar grill)

at 25 MPG it keeps us using oil and dependent on the Middle East and big oil companies. why doesn't Ford make a car that runs on electricity or air or water or natural gas? that would be the way to get Ford back on top. The technology exists to make cars that don't need gas to run, but that would only serve to cause losses in the oil industry and collapse the economy of the USA. So keep on making cars like the edge that will keep Ford in the oil business and America in the money.

Its a great looking car, don't know if it will help ford out that much....I think the Fusion has a better chance to help ford because it's more car for the buck.

Fusion has a bit smaller engine, and just over 200 horses on the V6. Has great fuel mileage, and smooth ride, and can take a curve.

Yikes!I am a Ford fan but I think the Edge is the ugliest looking vehicle they have made since the Edsel.Hope I am in the minority because I would like to see Ford back in good health again.Competition is good for the auto industry

its ugly. It is a cross over vehicle and it will do nothing good.
If ford wants to get back on their feet.
1. fire the 20 million dollar chief
2. build something that we want here in the states(thats something with great mileage)
3. ford sells a 3.0 powermax diesel in brazil but not here.They think we don't want it? This truck gets 40 mpg. You can see why we don't want it here in America
4. put this motor in a ranger explorer sporttrac and freestyle and watch them disappear from the floor

Very nice looking ride but the expensive model the SEL plus cost to much when you start getting sticker prices into the thirty thousand and up you lose a lot of potential buyers.

You better buy one before they sell out, personally I don't care for the looks of it even though it might be a great vehicle, I love the looks of the new GMC arcadia and everything is laid out really well and thought through but I was disappointed when I drove it as it had a rough ride to it compared to my trailblazer.

i like everything about it except for the rims, and the fog lights. The rims look cheap, and could compliment the edge much better, and the fog lights shouldnt have the cheap plastic chrome crap around the actual light. Other than that, great looking vehicle

I think its ugly and I havent seen one on the road yet.
I have seen other brand new 07 SUV's like the Audi Q7, Mazda CX-7 and the Acura RDX and MDX.

I've seen the exterior only. It's a good looking crossover vehicle.
