I keep getting an error message...if it has to do with a firewall, could you please tell me how to proceed?

your an administrator? or not? if not you can't make changes on your computer like removing programs and stuff, it has nothing to do with the firewall, post the error message...

Well if you posted the error message it would be helpful.
Have you tried turning off your firewall , changing the date and time and then turning the firewall back on?

Make sure you have administrator rights. This hasn't anything to do with a firewall but if you are just a user you don't have the authority to change it. This is the safest way to use your computer though.

Maybe your windows isnt updated...well you know how the government changed daylight savings rules so that it is 2 hours back or forward now? Well our computers arent programmed for it, and our motherboard has an actual time of day clock in it. Mabye this is where the conflict is? You may have to (ugh) update windows. Or its included in a service pack, I dont know....Im not running windows anymore, but ill include a link

Click on windows /automatic updates
