My throat often gets this weird sore feeling in it as if there is something stuck in it, or like pressure....happens about a few times a year normally, but it is bad at the moment. What is this?

It is a infection in your throat. It feels exactly as you said. They are the white things that you may sometimes find in your mouth. They usually cause soar throats. Not really much to worry about.
Hoped that helped.

If you want a definite answer, this is a question you should be asking your doctor. However, just guessing -- a wild guess at that -- since you mentioned it happens a few times a year, it could be an allergy, either seasonal or you could be allergic to something in your environment, such as molds, animal dander or dust mites. If you're a smoker, your throat could be reacting to the irritation. Like I said, you need to consult your doctor to find out exactly what's causing your symptoms, and to get some relief. Good luck!

you have allergies....go to your doctor, and have him prescribe you some allegra, or Claritin.
