i read from newspaper article stating, statistically higher educated individuals have less or no children, why?

They love themselves and their lifestyle too much to spare any for a child

I think that higher educated couples have less children because they have goals for themselves and those they bring into this world. They understand that it is expensive timewise and financially to raise a child to grow into an adult that can help the future generations to continue on a positive path.

it is simply..smart people know that you shouldn't have more kids than you can afford...why bring in 6-12 kids if you can't afford it?and lesser educated people should ask this question even more closely...so THEY don't end up on welfare..
yeah it is good to have children...have 2 of my own...but we decided to stop..it ALSO has to do with the toll on the woman's body...each is different.

Because it's always better to wait until your old enough to support the children you have so they may be trying to make sure they are finanically scure. Plus then you have a better insight on the guy your with and you mature more when your older to have children.

Because they are smart and work too much to have time for kids and like to enjoy life without all the baggage. Plus just have more money to spoil themselves.

Probably because they are so busy with their booming careers that they dont feel the need to stop/quit work to have kids

They are smart enough to know when they can afford children and, also, how many they can afford.
