There driver roster is not depleted. Ford has been struggling for two years, which is why they may get two or three guys in the Chase, but they will not win it. Kenseth, Biffle and Edwards are all championship material. McMurray is definitely a top-10 driver, he just had a bad year. Ragan is the only unknown. Naturally, it will takes years to make him a championship caliber driver (if he ever gets there).

I don't think their roster is depleted, it's just young. Ragan will develop over time. Edwards can win at most 11/2 tracks like Atlanta, Texas, and he can win in Pocono. Kenseth is the man at Roush and the 2003 cup champion. Biffle can win, but I think Doug Richert going to Red Bull hurt him. McMurray is the question mark and I think if he doesn't win he may get put on the hot seat soon. Other factors of Roush winning depend on:
1. Better equipment than Hendrick, Childress, and Gibbs. Right now they don't have it.

2. Luck. You can have a bad week in the Chase and win as long as you have six or seven good weeks.

3. Teamwork. Hendrick teammates always work together to improve their cars. This is what Roush must do to all their cars.

If all these things come together, we could be looking at a Roush driver as a possible champion.

I don't think they will have a chance to win the 'Cup, which is hard to admit since I am a die hard Roush/Ford fan. I think with Mark out of the 6 and Kenseth now being the "senior" guy Roush will have to do several things. Get the 16, 99 and 26 more consistent. Figure out the COT crapola and keep the 17 team intact to maintain consistency in the pits and on the track.

I don't know how you can call a team consisting of Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards depleted. Do you know how many teams would die to have that lineup? Let's see, Ganassi, Yates, Ginn, Petty and even Evernham would is my guess. And yes, they definately have a chance to win the championship with 3 guys in the top 12 now. If Jamie McMurray keeps showing signs of life and Biffle starts having a little good luck you might have 4 Roush teams in the chase.

Do they have a chance? Definitly. I don't think they'll win it, but they have a better shot than a lot of teams. I think they've fallen to 4th in racing teams behind RCR, Hendrick, and Gibbs Racing, but there will probably be 1 or 2 Rouch drivers in the chase and I think Kenseth will shake off the bad start for a top-5 finish. McMurray is a pretty good young driver and he may be the next in line behind Kenseth pretty soon. Ragan...eh, hasn't impressed me so far. They have the equipment, but the drivers just aren't as good as they were just a couple years ago.

Roush Racing has one team that could make the chase,Matt Kenseth.Though the others are good overall drivers they have been 10 to 20 place drivers for the most part.
That's all I have to say about that.

Hell no. The only driver that he has that has the consistency to run in the top-10 every weekend is Matt Kenseth. Two years ago in 2005 Roush had all five of his cars in the Top 10 in points. Last year only two cars in the top 10. so far this year only one of his cars is top 10

What depleted driver roster ??? If his roster was depleted he'd be hollering' like a mad man. Are you kidding me ??? But no, I don't think he has a chance at the championship this year or any other year. I think Joe Gibbs will get the Championship this year with either "Smoke" or Denny Hamlin, just my humble opinion.

I hope soo. Look how well Jamie has been doing this year! i think we will see Carl Edwards come up soon along with Greg Biffle. im not sure about Kenseth at this moment, hes on my bad side after the frist 3 races of the year.

Their roster is not depleted. It wouldn't suprise me if Kenseth won the championship again this year.
