Why is it that teachers and Professors never do anything earth shaking in Life ?

sure they teach which is important but they never stand alone and do great things {just teach theory of but never goi ng forth and living it }

Seriously though, teachers and Professors have been very influential in all manner of fields.

do you have even the slightest idea how stupid this sounds???? You are honestly saying that professors and teachers never do great thing????? Just look at history, professors and teachers have been some of the most beneficial people in this world for the last 3,000 years.

do you even know how to become a professor, you have to research, part of research and expiramentaion is doing. teachers don't really do anything, but proffesors change the world constantly at least half of all scientists have been a professor at one point

It is not their job - they have chosen to teach not become politician or military.

And actually - part of a university lecturers job is to research and that can / has / will change lives but not instantly

Teachers change people's lives all the time. I guess turning one kid's life around is not significant to you.
