You are quite intelligent to ask so many questions. I don't think a human blow would cause a herniated disk. Heavy lifting usually cause this. I can't answer about stunting your growth, but I doubt it. I have three herniated disk from many years of overworking my body and lifting too much. Went to physical therapy for years with a little relief, but not real help. When I finally went to a neuro surgeon, he looked at the MRI scans and said there was nothing surgically that could be done. First, I was mad, then I cried and then I said to myself, I will walk and walk and never give up. I have done very well and don't lift anything over 10 pounds. Yes, I am limited but thankful for every day that I can walk, have no problem with my stairs. I try to walk at least a mile outside on nice days. Good luck to you. Don't know about whether this can cause scoliosis. I doubt it because scoliosis is usually during the developmental stages of growth.

You will not stunt your growth if you get a light bruise on your back. It is unlikely that a punch that caused a light bruise will cause a herniated disc. Spraining your vertebra is not the same as having a herniated disc. Sprain is usually caused by a twisting motion, herniated discs are caused by strain on already degenerating discs. For example, lifting something very heavy in the wrong position. A herniated disc will not stunt your growth. Herniated discs can heal over time, but dont always. With or without a herniated disc, you will grow naturally. A herniated disc is not the same as a misaligned vertabra. It does not cause scoliosis.

I ought to consider Kevin7. There could also be many motives concerned within the progress of sexual orientation. None of the ones of which i'm mindful are by any means below the manage of the man or woman. These causes commonly comprise genetic predisposition, in utero hormonal influence, early childhood experiences (no longer necessarily sexual abuse, but probably including this), and a wide type of alternative possible influences. To take a look at and arrive at a "one measurement suits all" clarification is most more commonly fruitless. Human beings are each distinctive, and it is pointless to try to discover a universal etiology for gay orientation. At the very least, it can be now not a alternative. Even some folks who are not broadly revered on this forum (E.G. NARTH) accept as true with this. It is not a option, and to say so is alike unproductive, unfair, and inaccurate. Orientation which is not undesirable can not be changed. (NARTH additionally acknowleges this.) whether undesirable orientation can be modified is subject to debate. (In my example, it has now not changed regardless of powerful efforts to do so.) Hope this sheds a bit of light on the field. Razz
