Religions divide and on this weakness alone it should not be brought to school. But moral studies based on all religious teachings that are universal and fit into our social morals should be made a compulsory subject for which examination should be conducted as all other subjects. This is the suggestion of n assumed Utopian citizen, because in India where I live, if the Government dares such a thing true to my suggestion, Parliament proceedings will come to an abrupt halt and there will be street uprisings all over. But I will have one solace. All religions will unite for a change in opposing such a move. lileeann33

I don't have much to say about religion, but it would be nice if they included different thoughts on science, which is my pet peeve currently. I am a Christian and I would like to see teachers teaching students to think critically, and present options between evolution and creationism.

After all, atheism is like a religion - faith in no god. And while I don't think Hinduism, Buddism, Catholicism, or even Christianity should be forced into schools (although that would be nice), I do wish that they would show some open-minded, tolerant veiws toward our science classes.

*sigh* But much like the Cobb County incident with the textbook stickers, I doubt this will happen.

i does no longer have any concept what faith that's. there are maximum of different ones those days. all people can style a faith and make contact with it something they like. It does sound a sprint weird and wonderful and hokey, however, like certainly one of those the place they're hoping to empty your financial employer account so as that they are able to maintain their mansions and fleet of autos, and so on. i've got heard that usually whilst human beings bypass by a disaster, they bypass by some temporary substitute in habit. Your spouse appears like she is finding for solutions and can be utilising this new got here upon faith as a fashion of coping with each and all of the subject concerns and subject concerns in her existence. i could only be low key approximately all of it and quietly reveal screen issues. you have the little ones maximum folk of the week and can be the balancing effect on them. your little ones sound notably clever.

NO, who's religion? there are hundreds of different religions.
What if a Catholic is your school teacher and your protestant
What if your an Atheist and your teacher is a Babtist and scares the kids about hell fire? It caused so many problems is why it was taken out of public school in USA.
What about the Jews, Hindue, or Muslim?
Let the parents teach their own children about God.

Well we already have Catholic School Boards...so people who are Catholic are lucky to have that option of free public school with Catholic teachings.

However, I wish that we had the option to have other school boards funded, such as an Islamic School Board. I really want my kids to have Islamic teachings as part of their curriculum, but Islamic schools are extremely expensive, so many of us can't afford it. I personally think it's unfair, I wish I had more options where the education portion of my property taxes can go to.

Albert Einstein with all his scientific competence and humbleness stated that: Science without religion is blind!
Therefore those alumni of Schools without religion practidces inside will tend to be blind (Spiritual blind).
Blame Albert Einstein if you wish! Hope you have more competence than him!
