I watch Miami Ink all the time! I am petite, well built, and would love for Ami to tattoo me. I currently have no tattoos, always wanted one, but when I saw Ami, his good looks, his tattoos, and the exquisite talent he was blessed with, if anyone was to tattoo me, it would have to be Ami. I have relatives in Venice, and plan to come down this summer. I'm a little country girl from Ohio, and want a tattoo of Angel Wings on the back of my neck, in remembrance of my sisiter, who passed away in 1998, at the young age of only "38". The wings would represent my sister, who is now an Angel watching over me. My question is, Do I just come to Miami, and come into Miami Ink for this tattoo, and an idea of the cost. All of you at Miami Ink are the best artist's I have ever seen! Love, Sweet CarolAnne from Ohio.

You sound like you have a great idea for a tattoo. But don't let yourself get hooked into the idea that because the guys on Miami Ink have a show that they are the best in the USA or something. They aren't even the best in MIAMI. All across America are tattoo artists as talented or better.........who don't have shows and get lots of exposure. There are artists in YOUR area of Ohio better than Ami. So I wouldnt worry about getting ink by Ami.....find an artist in your area to do the work.

i agree with blair and rider (of course) the artists on miami ink are talented but they are definitely not the most talented artists by any means. they are good. check out some tattoo artists closer to you, just because someone is famous doesn't mean they are the best.
here are two custom artists that i found in ohio and i'm sure if you did a search you could find some more.

I'm sure it would be awesome to have a tattoo done by somebody as talented & famous as Ami. But do consider checking other artists. There are tons of them out there who are just as great (or better) but aren't well known because they aren't on TV. Look into it if you seriously want Ami to do it. Just be careful, I've heard that the fame from their show has caused egos & prices to inflate. Best of luck!

No, honey they're so popular you have to call months in advance for an appointment. Depending on the size and color of the tattoo, not to mention the minimum in the shop, it'll probably be between $120 and $175.

If you watch it all the time than you should have seen the ad spot that Nunez did saying you have to apply to be on the show. Just go to the website and fill out the app. Good luck!!! Ami is awesome.

You know, I'll bet that there is a tattoo artist in your area that is just as talented, if not more. Maybe check out your local tattoo scene. It's worth a shot.

look on their website. if you want to be on the show you need to apply. if you just want to get tattooed there I would imagine you need to call very far in advance.
