While I went to MP school 30 years ago, some things probably don't change.

First of all, if there were time for you to simultaneously pursue a correspondence course, they'd probably shorten the duration. Also, you probably still have to get command approval to start one, and you probably won't get it. I'd forget the idea while in training.

Now, what you learn will be additional marksmanship with a sidearm, how to disable someone with nonlethal means like chokeholds and "come-alongs", takedowns, lots of classes on when and how much force to use, use of radios, convoy escorts, filling out paperwork (lots of that), and the most commonly violated provisions of the UCMJ that you'll encounter.

A bit of advice... go airborne. Combat arms soldiers don't tend to like MP's, but if you have a parachutist badge, you've already proven yourself to many of them. It'll save you a lot of hassle.

During OSUT you learn what any other soldier learns; to be an MP.
I don't think there are any websites out there. Have you tried the school house at fort (lost in the woods) Leonard Wood?
The OSUT training environment has it's perks. You know the drills, so they should ease up on you. At the same time because they know you they will never ease up on you.
It's almost like being in red phase all over again. Sometimes.
So, no you will not have time to do your correspondence courses.
