Oh no, thats terrible, I'm so sorry. How much time do you have left? Hopefully you have enough time to go to a store and pick out an even better dress at a better price!
If I could make a suugestion, I knwo alot of the brides from the boards do this, they go to a shop and pick out a dress and then go to this website and order it from there, the prices are alot cheaper on this site than they are in the stores. You would need to know the dress designer, model # and your size measurements, but its really worth it, if you have the time. If you dont have the time, call around to your local shops and see if they sell any of their dresses off the racks, alot of times you can get those are cheaper prices since it was a sample dress.
Best of luck to you, and again I am so sorry that you were so disappointed with such a lousy dress.

I feel very bad for you, but there is nothing you can do. At least you are getting the money back from the seller. On ebay do a search for new wedding gowns, I saw alot of lovely gowns that were brand new in all different sizes and not alot of money. Also they have websites from China where they custom make a beautiful gown in your size in two weeks. Check it out, very interesting. The shipping costs more than the price on ebay. You can get a custom made gown for $130. Unbelievable, but if you don't have time, then you should try David's Bridal, their sale rack. But check out ebay, I was pleasantly surprised how nice some of the wedding gowns were. If you have time, try other websites for bridal gowns. Dessy.com. So many to choose from. Do a search.

The first thing you do is document EVERYTHING. If you haven't yet, photograph everything that is wrong with the dress before sending it back to the seller. IF they're shady enough to sell you such a piece of crap, they're shady enough to say that it was your fault, or the dress was fine, or that there never was any dress.

After that. . . breathe. It's not the end of the world. You're getting married. That's a happy thing. If you have to go off the rack, you'll deal.

Start Shopping today! Comb the bridal salons in your area and even the department stores (sometimes they sell one or two bridal styles) or call up used womens clothing stores to see if they carry recent styles (not 1980's ones) and go check them out. Good Luck! Also find a tailor local so they can adjust whatever you find.

Try a Bridal Warehouse.....they usually have several sizes in different styles and even some samples and you'll save sometimes 50-75%......and most them have in house alterations! Brush it off...and don't let it get you down...it wouldn't be a wedding it there weren't a glitch!!! You're gonna look beautiful!

I don't know how soon you are getting married but David's Bridal has a lot of beautiful dresses. That's where I'm getting my dress. I'm sorry about your dress. I can't believe they actually sent it to you knowing it was in that kind of condition. Best of luck to you!

Start shopping for a new one. What's done is done. I believe things happen for a reason. That dress was probably the wrong one. The perfect one is out there waiting for you. Go find it!
