Mother and daugther get into argument. Daugther throws things at the wall. Mother punches her in the face, gives her a bloody nose and beats her down. Mother holds her down on the floor while she makkes a spectator go and get water to pour down her daugther's face so there'll be no evidence of blood.. She also rips off the daugther's shirt since there's blood on t. Mother gags daugther, and muffles her screams while holding her down on the ground.
Mother calls child's father.
Father comes and picks up teenager.
Father laughs at the situation and makes the teen stay at his house.
Is this considered emotional abuse towards the teen?

It seems to be a typical dysfunctional family. Everyone's behavior was inappropriate - Mother, father, daughter and spectator.

The family needs therapy.

I think the mother went too far in her discipline. I can certainly understand how children can push their parents to this point. However the parent is the adult and has to act like one. I would consider this abuse. If this happens again, the mother should send the daughter to someone who can discipline without abuse. I do not believe in fighting at any age . For the daughter to throw something at a wall shows there is a serious lack of respect in that home.

Both physical and mental abuse. It sound like the whole family needs to go to psychotherapy. There is a lot of issues as well as a domino effect.

THe first part is obviously physical abuse....
Physical abuse is "physical force or violence that results in bodily injury, pain or impairment"
I am not totally positive about the laughing I think it is though........ have a look at the sources listed and find out ofr yourself...

It abuse in it's ugliest form, I would want to know what the little angel did to deserve this type of beating.

this is emotional, psychological and physical abuse and this is against the law. this is child abuse and needs to be reported to the police so that it can be stopped. straight away do not hesitate...........
