i jus lost a boy who i really loved and he loved me back........but he broke up with me. we only went out 4 about a week, and it took so long 4 us even to go out cuz we wanted 2 be sure about it. we didnt wanna lose eachother afterwards or make the wong decision. but its weird cuz he sed dat he luved me, but den he does this 2 me. anyway......he broke up with me bcuz he sed that he doesnt wanna hurt me bcuz he's gonna garuntee it ( meaning that he makes alot of mistakes in realtionships and that he may screw up) but i wasnt really worried about that bcuz i thought " doenst everybody?". i thought about it hard, but not as hard as he did. & now he broke up with me & i feel so empty w/o him. idk wat 2 do. idk if i should try & win him back bcuz my feelings arent goin away & i love him soooooo much, or jus go bac to the way things were b4, wen he called me his lil sister and he was my big brother. u kno, b4 we were more than friends, & went out. i want him but he's afraid of hurting me.

this must be a difficult situation. The best thing to do is give him the space that he needs for now. I would continue to talk to him though.
either 1) he really does love you and is so afraid of hurting you : if that is the case sit down and talk to him explain what you have explained about
2) he likes another girl (i am not implying this because i do not know, but that is something to keep in mind)
either way if it is "true" love you two will end up together some way some how...

Youre both young...you will not believe me now but trust me - you are not in love after a week - you cannot ever fall in love with someone even if before that week you talked to him a thousand times or just passed him on the street....love is more than what you feel right now. You "deeply like" him - that is all - he broke up with you because he is young but he has good sense to know that he likes you enough to tell you the truth that he is not ready yet to stay with one girl....appreciate that he did not stay with you and cheat. Try to do some other things with your friends and think about having fun and trust me - don't get all caught up with boys yet...do all the things in life first and get to know yourself - and then someday you can worry about getting a serious boyfriend.

Well...ummm...love is such a very strong emotion. It is either love at first sight or just a mere attraction at first greetings. I dont believe in love at first sight but instant attraction. I think that you and him probably weren't "in love" exactly. But instead there was this exciting attraction that makes you go crazy. If he truly loved you he would of stayed with you and worked his problems through. Love is a life long journey. And if he loved you he would of at least said that he would rather be with you and work his relationship problems out. Ask him whats the deal...and if he doesnt know then move on...you deserve better than a guy that is totally confused...

i know this can hurt... but just ask yourself this question... after dating for one week do you really think you can call a relationship love? i mean there are things like that but they are very rare... even if u dont know know you will definitely know in the future what love is. You will know the moment it happens. You recognize it. If it is meant to be it will happen. Love will find a way. 1.Take a DEEP,healing breath,breathe in...breathe out...breathe in...breathe out...
2. take 5 minutes and sit. Just sit. No thinking. No Doing. JUST SIT.
3.Talk to any,or all of the following:Mom. Dad. GOD. A true friend. Someone you respect. The dog. The cat.
4.Write what you're feeling.
5.Cry.
6.Take a walk.
7.Up to You.

Give it time and move on. If he wants to get back together with you, he will let you know. Do not try to talk to him about it becuase it will make you look desperate to try to get him back. If he does not want to be in a relationship with you, then find another guy. There are plenty of guys out there.

Maybe he he doesnt wanna mess things up because it might be a long way away from marriage, so he wants to have more time to grow and be more mature and have less of a chance to break up w/ u then.

I never understood what that meant. That happened to my best friend. Why would he be afraid of hurting you if he did love you? Maybe he didn't love you like he said he did and you're just as well without him.

I was in this exact situation before. sometimes when a guy really loves you they dont want to hurt you. so they do that. i know it doesnt make sence now. it didnt to me either. but it will. me and this guy broke up because he thought he might do me wrong. but he said he loved me. it didnt make sence to me. well come to find out it was best that we broke up because he did end up with another girl. but we are like best friends now so it worked out. i hope this helps. please email me at beverly_stevens11@yahoo.com to let me know if this helped!..thanks!
