It won't be for sex unless you allow it to be.

I am ashamed after reading the other answers. Why are women always putting us men down? Does it always have to be an ulterior motive? Can't a man just be romantic without the woman automatically suspecting he is a horny pervert? Maybe I should every woman I meet that abstinence is the only way to go then no matter what I ask, there is no ulterior motive!

both. If you do not feel comfortable going to his house, let him know. If he just wanted sex, he will throw a fit about it. If he actually does like you, he will be ok with it and respect it. Do not give into sex if you are not comfortable with the situation or the guy.

Both, he really likes you until you sleep with him, then he wont call cause he has no respect for you cause you slept with him on the 2nd date.. Instead go to his place and eat and dont have sex with him! See if he calls for a 3rd.

It is a matter of respect. If he truly respects you and your body, then he would wait until YOU are ready. If his whole motive for bringing you to his house is to have sex with you, then your best bet is not to go at all. How do you feel about it? If you aren't comfortable with it, don't be afraid to let him know. The way he responds to you telling him this will let you know whether or not he truly cares for you.

Sex. He could also rape you. Not very romantic, but most girls are raped by someone they know or have seen around.
Aquaintance rape I believe its called.
Or he's broke and doesn't want to make a big deal out of it.
Make sure several people know where you are and set a time to be back, making sure he knows that people will be looking for you by a certain time, so you can't stay late or have to leave early or whatever.

Could be either one. May want to meet in a public place for second date if you're worried. He shouldn't mind.

Depends on the guy. If you're not ready...and he tried to get in your pants...just say no and kick him in the nuts. Pansies like that have no purpose in this world, so do us all a favor and decommission his baby making parts. But who knows, maybe he just wants to cook dinner for you. In that case, don't kick him in the nuts, just say "Thank You"

Men don't normally cook. So he probably likes you and he wants to have sex too.

Well, like someone else said, he might just cook for you but it will only be about that if you turn "just cooking" into it.
