cellulite is basically a connective tissue disorder that effects women mostly and very, very few men. the connective tissue under the dermis allows fat cells to "stack up" on top of one another. and when the top layer of skin is very thick then cellulite is very pronounced. the only way to reduce cellulite is to reduce the current level of body fat below average levels. the fat contained in cellulite is no different from any other type of body fat.

Cellulite is more common among women than men. If other women in your family have cellulite, there's a good chance you will too. It causes due to dehydration, less physical exercises, poor diet. There are many products and treatments that promise to get rid of cellulite on thighs. Cellmaxa cream is one of them. It is formulated with a dual blend of clinically proven complexes that can banish existing cellulite and inhibit the processes responsible for the development of unwanted dimples and bulges.

Squats, butt lifts, lunges and ham string excercises work best.
Also, you can check out Velasmooth, Endermologie and Mesotherapy.

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.

The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.

The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.

The attached site has more info or you can call 888.517.4187 for someone who does the cellulite treatments.

Cellulite is bad. It's best to prevent it before it happens, because it is a B***** to get rid of. I don't have any...I'm young and have a pretty healthy lifestyle, so I'm in prevention mode. But there are creams that will help to smooth it out...keep your skin moisturized, and just maintain a healthy lifestyle. Eat right, drink lots of water, do cardio like 5 times a week and strength training like 3 times a week...cut down on sugar, calories, and fat that you eat.

It's fatty deposits beneath the skin of the body that give a lumpy or grainy appearance to the skin surface, I'm not sure how to get rid of it though, sorry.
