Iran won't even attack Israel although they've threatened much worse. Keep your comic book hero Iran in the comic books dude. Nobody is gonna squash the UK.

yes, Brits are cool, I'm glad it worked out so simply. I imagine Iran is also. I dont think they want war I think they just want to be the little dog with a big bark that everybody has to humor. My opinion but I take everything with a grain of salt.

Its a typical Iranian ordeal....
Ahmedinajad wants attention so he kidnaps British sailors that were in Iraqi waters (we have proof).
They also did this on the same day a resolution was passed in the Un about their nuclear program..... so they did this basically so people wouldnt pay attenion to the resoulution and would to the sailors...
He is a madman

It now appears that Iran was looking for a tit for tat scenario in order to secure the release of their people who were captured by the US, in Iraq.
I understand the US has given thought to releasing their Iranian captives, to help the Brits gain release of their thirteen people. This could be a good move (I suppose) on the part of the US, in that it will show support for our best ally, Great Britain and Tony Blair !

I remember a story about a guy who kept getting robbed.
So, he set up a gun to shoot the robber.
Well, he got robbed again and the gun killed the robber.
So the guy went to jail because you can't do that.
Well, he was just pushed to far. You can understand it, but not endorse it.
That is the same thing Iran is doing.
They acted hastly because of political pressures.
The only recourse they had was to let the GI's go and try to look good when they did.
They won't back down from the nuke issue.
Maybe a bit of ??? might help them to change their mind?

If so they made a big mistake because it made Britain look helpless, nobody believed their presentation to the UN, and Blair looked powerless.

Britain doesn't want to incur the wrath of Iran. They are just playing it safe so Iran doesn't destroy Britain.
