I have four daughters who are usually very sweet and easy to get along with. The problem is, they can only get along with one at a time. like, when one talks to me on email, the others won't join us. they decline, yet, if i talk to each one separate, they will talk for hours. one, as of now, acts like she is angry with me, and i don't know why. Do any of you have any ideas as to why they act this way?

like, when one of them is running around with one of the other sisters, then she won't have anything to do with me as far as calling or anything. when I email her, she won't answer it. otherwise, we all get along good; separate by twos

Well I think the best way for you to solve this is to do the assertive thing and ask your daughters. If you get the chance to do it with all of them at the same time that would probably be best, that way no one has the chance to blame the other or lie.

We have not been provided with enough information from you to tell you the cause and even if you provided us with more, we would only be making assumptions. And it is never a good idea to make assumptions. The best thing you can do is just ask them, they may not be avoiding you at all, it could all be one big coincidence.

Good Luck to you.

It sounds as if they are jealous if one of the girls is talking to you. They sound very moody. I don't think you can do anything about it. Just be with them one on one and try to enjoy your time together.

Jealousy of the other sisters for your attention, perhaps?
