Many countries are a threat to a world war... probably the biggest one is the one we live in... with a hothead at the helm, who knows?

The 3rd War if there is one will be different compared to past wars.It would start with conventional military forces and a face off with Iran as most people say but it will result in Iran's forces being severely defeated.But then it will turn into terrorism and social unrest and sabotog.Iran's 11 million strong militia will spread awkwards into the Middle East and into Saudi Arabian oil fields.The oil trade will be disrupted and the U.S will have to start the draft.Global terrorism will dramatically increase and the social unrest in Europe with muslims will rapidly transform into insurgency.Terrorist attacks will be common there and the violance and terrorism will spread into the U.S.Air travel nor anything we do might be safe anymore.The only place where Islam will be peaceful is in India where they share the love of their homeland and are influenced by ancient Indian Hindu philosophies of non violence.Syria will further help the violence increase.The U.S desperate to contain it will sight any terrorist activity in the Arabian dessert,Iraqi,Iranian dessert and drop low yield atomic bombs.As oil is disrupted China will be angered as well as India since they had oil trade with Iran.Russia will continue to sell weapons to the Iranian militias.As all out chaos happens the U.S and China will exchange small arms fire in the Taiwan-China sea.The small arms fire will be by the navies.Slowly an all out military conflict awaits all over the world.The battle in the Middle East will be intense and many nations will take part to protect their interests.Mainly the NATO.For now its Iran and Syria with aid from China and Russia (slight chance from India) on the axis.The world economy will begin to fall with the East rising.India will have to make a tough decision.Whether it should stand by the only nation that ever gave it support at the birth of India as a nation to the time every nation imposed sanctions on India for the nuclear tests and Russia refused to even while having international pressure and their own crumbbled economy to worry about.India will either have to side with Russia or the west.America on the other hand imposed santions on India while it was still a weak nation which nobody thought would start to become a power.In the 1971 war between India-Pakistan,Pakistan was becoming divided since Bengladesh wanted independence.The U.S aided Pakistan with weapons and money and the latest technology.The Pakistani forces had muredered millions of women and children of Hindu and even Muslim decent in Bengladesh without a care.Refugees poured into India.Millions of Bengladesh people were killed.Pakistan they attacked an Indian airbase so despite all odds like U.S and NATO support and little Russian assistance (but enough at the time) India managed a large victory and captured 90,000 Pakistani POWs who were later freed.India may still not have forgotten about this nor the numerous CIA sabotoge attempts.The U.S only started to develop friendship with India in the mid 2000s because of their rapidly rising economy and other interests.The U.S was impressed with them having reduced poverty from 35% to 21% in one decade.Since China is a rising influence the U.S is seeking an alliance with India so that there is a counterweight and powerful U.S ally in Asia.But India has rising friendship with China and will become their top trading nation by 2009.There is also growing defense research with Russia and their recent "Fair World Order" summit including Russia,China and India.

India faces a tough decision to make in a hypothetical WW3 and will either have to make a new friend who has had a bitter past with them or stick with the old friend who has stood by them in every incident where the world looked at India in the same way the world looks at Iran.An insignificant little nation which can be destroyed if gone over its limit.However they are not seen that way anymore.Since they are near the middle east they may be the life saving ally.

I am emphazizing India a lot because they are the one country with the toughest choice to make.

I think people that believe there will be a World War 3 will cause World War 3.

If you get enough people to think that way, then it will happen purely out of self-fulfillment prophecy.

They will cause confusion, chaos, economic collapse, etc. It has always failed. More recently it has failed as a result of Y2K and will always continue to fail.

There are NO countries that support a WWIII. None. You can make up dreamy story lines and drama all you want but there is no country in the world that wants a world war. The ones making all the noise want people to help them because they suck in general and really can't do much by themselves. They want all the luxuries without sacrificing anything to get it. Wake up man. Nobody wants war but everybody wants something for free. And use spell check.
