you should be able to...maybe with a little more hood clearence, and maybe customizing the inner fender well or strut towers. Before i got started i would ask a Mustang Forum or see if they make motor mount brackets specificaly for the 94 Mustang.

Short answer, yes, you can. I haven't done it myself, I can't say if the headers will clear anything, but there are engine mounts that will bolt the block in place.

Just a quick google search for "mustang 460 mounts" turned up a few results. Try something like this one.

If you do enough research you will find kits that allow you to do this. These kits will come with motor mounts, headers, and a few other items needed to accomplish the task. You will still need to get a hood, bellhousing or new trans, etc.

Why would you put a big block in a mustang? I sincerely doubt the structual components would support that engine!Besides the fact it's an ANCHOR!

you can, but its not really worth it unless you plan to spend some serious money on parts to make enough horsepower to make it worth using the 460 over a lighter small block with some decent mods. and even then it is going to handle TERRIBLE.

I recall it being done, but I can't give you any details.
If you can get 500hp out of 5.4 in the Shelby and I hear they are getting 540HP out of the new GT 500 KR that will be coming out either this fall or next spring, why the big block, how much do you need? Hey, your name isn't John Force is it??? LOL

You can but I would rather try to modify to 302 V8 and you can easily get around 350-400bhp from the little 302 V8.

You can get enough go-fast parts for a 5.0. There is no reason to put a big ol' thing like that in.

Yeah if you want to put the effort into it. Be just as easy to put a 351 W in it. You can give them just as much go-go...with less work.....
