I'm doing taxes for 2005 (yes i'm slow), but i'm in a pickle here. i was 1099'd, but I don't have access to those documents anymore, and further I can't track down that former employer...

is there ANYTHING i can do to find out how much was reported that year from previous employer? any other options....?

Use the information from your financial records to file the return. Your records should equal the amount on the 1099 so this is reallly a non-issue.

Contact the IRS, as they have a copy.
