Of course. For example, after reading the passage about the parting of the Red Sea, I walked into Lake Michigan in the dead of winter and ordered the waters to open apart. It didn't quite work, but I'll try again as soon as I'm released from the hospital.

That's the entire point.

When I read something, I try to figure out the lesson of the passage and question whether the concept applies to me.

It was very convicting when I realized that all those stupid things the Israelites did wandering in the wilderness, I do, too. I fail to trust God like I should.

All those horrible, hypocritical things the Pharisees did? I have to keep constant guard to make sure I am not like them.

I think any time I am intolerant of a character in the Bible, I need to examine myself for ways I am like him/her/them.

Most definitely! The bible, for instance, was made to compare to everyones' life because God was all about teaching in a way that made every thing and every one equal. The way to do it is read a passage and take bits and parts and just compare it to your life and then actually apply it to your life.

I have been reading the Bible for a number of years, and have learned that as long as I read it, my life in general began to change from the words I read. When I started apply the word of God to my life, good things began to happen to me! I am a living witness that when you apply the word of God to your life, good things happen. It's all in what you believe! Most of the things in the Bible has been fulfilled which lets me know that it's not a book of lies, and Jesus said himself in Chapter 12 of John, that he didn't come to judge the world but to save it, and that His Word, would judge in the end times. But it's up to you, who and what you believe!

Yes I live the life Jesus commanded me, I obey only the Words Jesus Spoke, the Word of God

Sometimes, I fall to temptation, and Jesus throws me a life-line and pulls me back, but it's my choice to take the line, because I know that my own desire are strong, I ask God, the Father who art in heaven, in the name of Jesus, to take the burden from me

Yes. When someone says something mean, I think about what the Bible says and try not to say sthg. mean back and to forgive them. The Bible says that faith w/out actions is useless.

Yes, to show God that I appreciate what he has done for me.

I try to pattern my life after the one that Jesus lived and spoke about. I love all people as much as I can and try very hard not to judge.
