Heyy.
I'm getting a tattoo. I have the design and where I want it. I was just wondering if anyone can give me an estimate of how much it will cost... so I have an idea. I'm thinking of getting it on my lower back.. please dont stereotype or judge me. I know what I like and what I want so please keep any negative comments to yourself. Here is the link to the tattoo that I want.

Ignoe the little mama's boys that will use the wore out "tramp stamp" title. I have one on my lower back and I love it. Pretty tattoo, it would be hard to tell how much it would cost as all artist charge such different prices. If you took that tattoo to five different artist you would get five different prices. Mine cost $140 I think. It has been a few years and it was the third one my artist had did one me.

That's a question that really has no answer. The cost will vary greatly depending on what studio you go to. The question is: how much do you care about quality? If you go to a good, reputable tattoo studio that does great work then you will end up paying more, but your tattoo will look better and age well (assuming you take care of it, i.e. don't go out in the sun leaving the tattoo unprotected, etc.). If you don't care about quality and only want a cheap tattoo, then you can probably find a place that will do it for under 100 bucks. BUT I would not recommend shopping around for prices. Search for quality. Visit the tattoo shops around your area or look at their websites and look at their portfolios, see which artists can produce the best tattoos.
Hope this helps. Quoting a price is really not possible because every shop does things differently.

I have *always* gone with reputable shops and the artists charged $160 an hour. My last tattoo was 4 hours of work and my current one (in the process) is going to take about 12 hours. Don't skimp on the costs. I've seen waaaaaay too many borderline just out of prison I'll ink ya for 80 dollars tattoos.

Ohh I like it! =)
Depending on the size, where you live and how good of a tattoo place you pick. I live in Ontario and I would say it its gunna cover your back and you go to a clean and professional tattoo shop approx. $150-$200.
Have fun! Bring orange juice or gatorade with you because I've seen people almost pass out because the pain hurt so much in that spot. The gatorade will help you stay awake and aware.

Hi! I would go ahead and take it into several tattoo studios in your area to get a range. That would be the best way to know. Prices can vary ALOT...
for example....mine... I have a side portrait of my daughter on my lower back on the side.....it's above my name as my avatar....got 3 quotes...$450, $150 and $200....I ultimately went with the one that charged me $450 because of who the artist was, he's world known for the particular type of tattoo I have (portrait) and that I felt confident in getting my tattoo from him. (no it's not Miami Ink)

i couldn't even guess how much that tattoo would cost but i would reconsider if i were you. why do you want a tattoo that hundreds of other girls have? get something custom designed by an artist just for you. it could run anywhere between $50 and $150 depending on the artist that does it and how they charge for their time.

Typically the artist charges by the hour. Depending on your geographic location it runs approximately $100 to $125 per hour.

the lower back is very sexy, I got mine yesterday and chose a tribal sun. The process took about 30 minutes and I am glad i chose that location.
I am a professional by trade and I will not ever have to worry about my customers or fellow office workers seeing it.
It cost me $115.

i really like that picture and i think that it will look great on ur lower back.... ignore the tramp stamp comment.... people can be very ignorant.... i have a chinese symbol on my lower back and i really like it..... i would guess that the tat will most likely cost about 100.00 dollars...... but in the end it really depends on where u live... in arkansas which is where i live i would not cost that much.... good luck i think it will look good!!!!!
