Does anyone else believe that the Muslims are biggest victims of Islam?

Ok, honestly, Islam has brought Muslims so much poverty, war, and oppression, its unbelievable. Many will probably argue that this isnt "the true islam", but many of the horrible things that take place in these countries ARE legislated by Islam, the Quran actually states everything the moderate muslims consider "not true islam". Like stoning, killing apostates, wife beating, the draconian rules on the veil, limb amputations, lashings and such...Its all in the Quran. Does anybody else ever think to themselves that Muslims are the biggest victims of Islam?

Quran 8:12 “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. therefore strike off their heads and strike off every

Quran 61.4 Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure.

Kill Disbelievers in a cruel fashion:
Sura 5:33: "Those who make war with Allah and his messenger will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. That is how they will be treated in this world, and in the next they will have an awful doom."

Slit throats of unbelievers:
Sura 47:4: Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost.

Amputation for petty theft:
Sura 5:38: Cut off the hands of thieves, whether they are male or female, as punishment for what they have done—a deterrent from God: God is almighty and wise.

Dont be friends with Jews or Christians:
Sura 5:51: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your allies and protectors: They are but allies and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.

Permission for a muslim man to beat his wife if she doesnt obey him:
Sura 4:34: Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in their sleeping places and **beat them**; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High,Great

The sad truth is that the Quran does teach things like wife beating, killing infidels, severing limbs, stoning, etc...

I suggest that you learn more about Islam. Wife beatings happens all over the world. (A lot of it due to liquor and alcohol consumption. Did you know that Muslims don't believe in drinking? That's why it is argued that Saddam Hussein was not a real Muslim.)

Pakistan, for example, has a 97% Muslim population. Their aids rate is actually 0.01% (Less than America OR Canada.)

The Bible also mentions things about stoning and lashings, and cruel punishments, not to mention there is a line (or 2) about defending your faith in a brutal manner.

I used to judge religions like you too, but seriously, It's time to actually READ the Qu'ran or READ about Muslim countries. Or maybe, actually go to one yourself, because I can easily contradict all the evidence which you have presented in your argument.

PS. Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are the 3 monotheistic religions- meaning they believe in one god and one god only. They're the most alike faiths in the world, but now, many people don't know this.

i believe they are. But u can see more and more muslims who dont actually really follow their religion 100 %. Alot of ppl are really westernized in asia and if u go there u dont see alot of muslim women wearing hijabs or praying 5 times a day. I think muslims from india and pakistan have more respect for ppl of other religions and respect everyone. but there are other places such as iraq, iran where they are still living in the 20th century. I think yes muslims are the biggest victims of islam and i also think that alot of them know this, so u can see they are not that religous depending on where u live. in another 50 yrs time i think the world could be a better place.

You forget that much of the troubles of Muslim countries originated during the time of the Crusades & a bit later when Ghenghis Khan annihilated the entire eastern Islamic Caliphate & razed half of the cities in the Middle East.

i m from morocco and it's not very rich..and now i live in a rich country..and i tell you i was much happier there..
we live simple lives..we pray everyday..we are happy with what god gave us..here in the Europe..ppl work drink and get pissed off..**** around..no thanks I'd rather be poor.

now about the whole animals related thing, when a muslim spaughters and animal for food, it must be done away from other animals so they dont get scared and it must be quick, while cheristians these days do it slowly and painfully through choking and electrifying, we once accidentally bought a duck from jungle jim and saw itt wa choked because it was blue around the neck, so we didn't eat it, we didn't throw it away though, we gave it to a soup kitchen.

Are they the biggest victims of Islam? Yes, but not for the reasons you mentioned. Poverty, war, oppression, cancer, AIDS, leprosy, venereal diseases, amputations, migraines, lashings, wife beatings, divorce, child abuse, rape, molestation, abortion...... (the list does not end)... These are all bad things that happen to alot of people.

THE bad thing that Islam does to Muslims is that it leads them away from Christ, and on to hell. Islam only does that to Muslims, so Muslims are the biggest victims of Islam.
