Advantages: Freedom of choice, supplying a demand.
Disadvantages: It's illegal when it shouldn't be.
Why is it illegal for a person to sell, what it's legal for them to give away.

Some advantages are that it is high-paying (or so I've heard), one doesn't need much experience for it (or any sort of education), and I guess a person can sort of choose his or her own hours as well as how often he or she works. The disadvantages are the risks of STDs and pregnancy, the fact that it is immoral, loss of reputation, and loss of self-esteem. I guess another advantage is that a person would not have to worry about taxes too much in that job field. However, it's not a job I would recommend for anyone.

I believe that prostitution should be legal. Not because it serves any useful purpose, but because there is no reason it should not be.
People should be able to do what they want, so long as everyone involved is consenting. People getting offended by something that goes on behind closed doors don't count.

Prostitution is not illegal everywhere and if it was legal in certain places it would probably be safer.
