For the same reason that you tell all your friends about a good movie you watched or about a great sales down the road. We share about Jesus, because we have found something of worth and good, because we care. Suppose all of us were strickened by a deadly disease and there is no cure known. We are all just waiting to do die and you stumble upon a cure. Will you share this cure with your friends and others who are sick or will you keep quiet about it and just let them die?
As Christians, we have found the cure for a disease called "sin" and it is our duty to share this solution with all who needs it. Whether they want to believe us or not is their choice but we must tell because we are the ones who have the answer. Sharing Christ with others is a mandate given to all Christians by Christ (Matthew 28 v 19), it is not a "will you?" but a command "Go to all the world and preach...."

Sunderland's oldest and most respected department store is closing down. I went in on Monday and spent two hours getting some fantastic bargains. I have spent a lot of my time since telling everyone I meet about it and telling them get down and see for themselves.
Part of the reason Christians are so ... enthusiastic about spreading the news is because we see salvation as an unbelievable bargain. No effort, nothing to lose and everything to gain. Plus, through The Great Commission, we feel compelled to.
However, the news isn't news to most people in Britain and the West, if you live in a Christian country then the ideas surrounding the gospel are with you all the time. You know the stories and don't want some crazy, grinning Christian trying to force feed you. I wait until I get a green light ... someone asks me something or 'religion' is brought up in conversation. Then Pentecostal Patty comes streaming out.

It doesn't matter what non-Christians think or say. You keep posting your answers. Might even try prayerfully answering a legitimate question and who knows what your impact will be. You will know what impact you have had, later.
The fascinating thing I find about the answers is what Christians say. You can learn from the answers they give. Those also sometimes make you want to dig a little deeper in study. By the way, an argument will not necessarily win souls but this forum gives you a chance to hone skills and develop patience in answering the nonsense questions and view childish answers. It may prepare you for real encounters. I do not answer the outlandish questions because it's a waste of time. But they do ask some provocative questions, you have to admit.

People are not scared to say there is a God - why are you completely unable to accept that other people's beliefs are as valid as your own. I cannot be afraid of your God when I do not believe in him. Why must Christians always seek to inhabit a position of superiority? You just seem brain washed to me. I fully accept your right to choose whatever belief system you wish to live by. If you are coming from the point of view of acceptance (and I think you'll find that that's where Christ was coming from) you will not have a problem allowing others to be as they wish also.

God commands His disciples to spread the "Good News" to the four corners of the world. For a true Christians there is no option. Matthew, chapter 28, verses 16-20. Mark, chapter 16, verses 15-18. Pray to be a good witness reindeer, and learn from mature Christians around you.

Dearest Reindeer, you say your still learning...can i make a suggestion? don't say anything...maybe some think your trying to control their freedom to think for themselves. Live your life and when people see you have something they want they will approach you. Wisdom comes often with maturity, and how often is it said on here "we don't like Christianity pushed down our throats" i don't like anyone preaching to me, one of the reasons i stopped going to church...we can all learn from each other..try to find some peace in it all and take care...love and blessings..T

Simply because Jesus foretold for our day this work: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” He also instructed his followers: “Go . . . and make disciples of people of all the nations.”—Matt. 24:14; 28:19.
When Jesus sent out his early disciples, he directed them to go to the homes of the people. (Matt. 10:7, 11-13) The apostle Paul said regarding his ministry: “I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house.”—Acts 20:20, 21; see also Acts 5:42.
So the message that is being spoken about involves the lives of people; they [we] want to be careful to miss no one. (Zeph. 2:2, 3) Our speaking to others are motivated by love—first for God, also for their neighbor.

For those of us who are firm believers, it is our calling to attempt to bring those that are unaware into a state of awareness. Who knows when just one single answer will provide the "seed" that God will bring into fruit eventually. Only God can bring people to him in total but we can play a role in his purpose by doing what we can. Yes, many unbelievers are on here as well and will do everything in their power to corrupt what we say or to make fun of it but that is as Jesus told us it would be. It is no surprise to us. Keep learning and praying and someday you too will want to be a part of it...discouraging as it is sometimes.
