I mean Easter has more meaning behind it than Christmas. Jesus rose from the dead!

Not sure what church you go to, but in mine, Easter is the regarded as the greatest celebration of the entire Christian calendar.

The excitement of Christmas comes from the gift giving and all the baked goods that start early on. I'm not suggesting this is the ONLY reason for excitement at Christmas, but it certainly uplifts the state of mind and the spirit. Also, more people celebrate Christmas and gift giving and parties (whether Christian or not) than Easter therefore there are more people contributing to the excitement in the air at Christmas time than there are contributing to the atmosphere of Easter.

For true Christians, both events are important, but Easter is definitely significant because Jesus did and rose again. You say 'people' are more excited about Christmas. Well, many don't really celebrate Christ's birth but the anticipation of presents and good food and family gatherings.

But you know the thing about christmas is that 1 It comes before Easter Because Christmas is when Christ was born and that had to be before when he died so practicly Christmas comes before Easter, because Easter when made up after Christmas. Oh, and about easter having more meaning behind it, I dont think that is true because Christmas is when Christ was born and that has to be better because if Chistmas wasnt there Easter wouldnt be so Christmas should be liked because it helped us have more holidays. And to admit it i celebrate them mostly the same. I do see your point though.

But he was born on Christmas, it's a Birthday Party! There is also a lot of scientists that say his death was faked. And people do celebrate Easter a lot, it's just Christmas has become more commercialized.

Because nobody gets or gives Eastern presents. Start making gift-giving part of the scene and the Targets and Macy's of the world will start pumping out the Easter commercials like nobody's business.

Easter is a celebration of the Spring goddess. Rabbits and eggs have nothing to do with Christ, its all related to fertility. oh and Christmas is about winter solstice.

Ummm. I'm a little mixed on both.
One has an old man leering at my daughter, the other has a giant rabbit leaving "chocolate" surprises all over the house.

Do all religions need animated mascots to keep the kiddies interested?

Because Christmas is all about presents and Santa and me me me me me me me!!!!!!!! None of these holidays has any true meaning anymore; they're all commercialized. Just keep the spirit of the Lord alive in your heart and treat each day as the celebration of Christ having risen! Love ya babe! :)
