I didn't get highlights or any other color and I feel like I got ripped off! What would you do?

Salons tend to cost a lot of money. If you don't want to spend that much, then color your hair at home, or don't have your hairdresser style your hair. Styling costs money, even if it is just a blow dry. I color my own hair and just have my hairdresser trim my ends every one in a while. I don't have her style it because that's a waste of money, to me anyway.

You certainly did. In my neck of the woods on Long Island, coloring is $30, wash, trim and blowdry is $25. With a tip it should have been $65. You got taken girl, so find another place..they are rip off hairdressers.

well, you should of checked the prices of that salon before u got ur hair done there, unless the salon charged u more than u calculated it to be, but thats a whole other story. still, if ur satisfied with the work ur hairdresser did, then that is still something to be happy about. think about it this way, you could've gotten ur hair done at a really cheap place nd they possibly could of did a horrible job, and it might of been cheap when u paid for it, but even if u complained that u were disatisfied, a bad hairdresser, is a bad hairdresser, theres nothing u could do, nd u'd have to pay a lot more to get it fixed, or u could just be happy with ur hair now, cuz u won't have to fix it for a long time, unless maybe for trims. well, i hope i made u feel a little better and good luck!!!!!!!!!

This is just more exspensive then what most people get there hair done for. It usually costs $40-$60 to get a color, 15-20 for a trim. Maybe $15 for a blowdry straight. Let your hairdresser kow you are not thrilled with her prices. Let her know you are not planning to come back if her prices are this high.

Wow, where did you go? I think at the salon I work at we charge like $60 or alittle more. I would probably call the place and ask them why thats such a high price and that you could have gotten a cheaper price somewhere else. That price is crazy especially if its not a high end salon. If you dont wanna call, thats all you can do. Next time maybe call around or go to a "cheaper" salon.

Damn, you got ripped off! I would find a cheaper salon next time- I know in Chicago you can get a cut and highlights for $80-$100.

it`s always a good idea to inquire about the costs of any work you`re having done, because now i`m afraid it`s a little too late to do anything about it...just make sure next time, u know the full costs of the procedures u want to avoid any surprises!!!

First off she charged way to much! If i was in that situation i wouldn't pay her 150 instead she would of got only 75 dollars.

Was it a Salon or supercuts? The color is probably what cost you.
