I have been practicing Wicca for thirteen years and teaching for five, and wouldn't mind talking with you and answering any questions you may have. My Y!IM screen name is prairiecrow, and you can contact me via email through my profile page.
Blessed Be, and good luck! :-)
EDITED TO ADD: Regarding the recommendation above for Witchschool... some Wiccans have problems with them, for reasons outlined in the following links:
http://community.livejournal.com/nonfluffypagans/718930.html
http://community.livejournal.com/nonfluffypagans/719279.html
http://community.livejournal.com/nonfluffypagans/719552.html
This isn't to say that you shouldn't enroll with them; just that you should probably be aware of what's being said about them by other Wiccans.

Wicca and other alternative religions are frowned upon in many moderately Christian areas. It is sad that in a Country that prides itself on being progressive and free that we have people who insist that our religions are evil. Not to sound repetitive but, "we don't worship the Christian devil! We aren't Christian."
Thyere are many flavors of Wicca... so you can check around and see what you might be interested in. I am fifth generation eclectic/green witch, which means nothing more than I have a lot of ancestors who lived off the land and didn't follow a Christian path. They were able to both feed and tends their families from the land and they paid homage to the Mother.
You should go take a look at www.witchschool.com I believe this is published by the Corellian Tradition and you should be able to get some good info. If I were teaching you I would tell you to take everything you are taught and then adapt it to suit your personality and goals. People who work with energy need to understand basics, but they also have to be able to apply their own personality to it. A Path is a personal journey, not a super highway to understand that so many people think it is.
Please go visit www.witchvox.com and see how many people in your State are Pagan. You'll be shock to know we are a very growing religion and you can search through their database to see people near where you live.
Come visit my website at www.unitedpaganchurch.org and you can ask as many question as you want. My email addy is humanrayc@unitedpaganchurch.org
Enjoy your search and be sure to meet the many wonderful Pagan and Wiccan people out there.
Brightest blessings,
Rev. Ray

Wicca is such a broad term, my dear. What is it that you wish to learn? In any case, even though the area in which you live is largely Christian based, why does it matter? Once you begin to practice, you will learn that in doing so you take a vow of secrecy, so as to avoid persecution, and so that you may practice in peace. Also, you should be proud of what you believe in. You will be put down for it, but as long as you are happy, it does not matter. My suggestion for learning the was is to take up a bit of research, whether it be online or elsewhere. Find the aspects of the practice that most appeal to you and your morals. Bear in mine though that in order to practice the true craft, never do anything that will bring harm to you or any other person. You must never try to make someone do anything against their will. If you chose to do a spell for a loved one or a friend, you need their permission. Always remember that what you do will come back times three, whether it be good or bad. You must try to love and respect all, regardless of how they treat you or what they do. All races, creeds, religions, sex, morals...the list goes on.....should be respected. The Earth is to be viewed with awe and respect. You will find your way, my dear, take that to heart. Blessed Be!

I was raised as a Lutheran. I never felt connected while in church. When services were held outdoors on camp outs I felt connected. For that reason I pursued the Wiccan path. It has been 14 years now and the acceptance is still limited. There is one established Wiccan church I have found help at. That is the Aquarian Tabernacle Church. They were originally established in Washington State, USA and have spread worldwide. Their website is good source of information, it is:http://www.aquatabch.org/ I hope this is of help to you. Blessed Be

feel free to contact me through my profile, and we will go from there, there is a lot of ground to cover though, i will warn you of that. i also live in an area that is maily christain but i know of several practicing wiccans in my area including myself. so its not impossible! ps, ignore whatever ohyeahy may say to you on the subject, as far as she is concerned all wicca is is a satanic death cult. she has no actuall knowlege on the subject.

There are several Wiccans here who may be able to help you. Also, there are several forums and discussion groups online that you might find helpful - if you Google terms like "wicca forum" or "wicca group" you should come up with several hits.
Bright blessings,
Tirya

You are welcome to contact me about CUEW, but their online courses don't take kids and while 100% free are a lot harder than some of the ones mentioned earlier... I strongly recommend an online group with offline members over an online only group.

sweetheart, please, whatever you do, don't let people make you believe you have to do things only one way. Wicca is a very flexible pagan path. you can start with the book "A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham and any others by him. and/or books by Silver RavenWolf. please feel free to contact me via my profile. I am happy to help.
