You have a bigger problem, here.
When you are stressed, the human body cannot relieve homeostasis. Homeostasis is when your internal enviornment is not affected by external conditions. If this cannot happen, your temperature cannot remain regulated. You will be hot and cold with the outside conditions, making you more prone to catch a cold or become ill.
You need to take control of the stressor and eliminate it. Talk about your problems. If someone else knows about it, it seems as though you are not the only one worried about it. This help.
Physical activity also helps. Ride a bike or go out and swim!
Remember one, crucial thing!
- All other girls your age are going through this right now, and you are not alone!
DO NOT try to pretend the stressor is not their, face it and eliminate it!
Good Luck!

Your parents got angry because you wrote your feelings down in a piece of paper?? some parents are just ignorant. I am a 37 year old and trust me I use to be like you and still am at times. I feel this strong monster inside that just wants to rip anyone or anything apart. I am even scared of my own anger, anyway you may find this stupid and you may not even do it but the way i relieve anger and stress i cry. I cry and cry and cry until i cannot cry anymore then i talk to someone and ask them to tell me something funny and they do and i start laughing and laughing so hard that i go back to crying...well okay crying is good....but yeah i cry and then i get a friend or my boyfriend cheer me up by acting like a kid. crying is good for the soul. try it it might help. good luck

Find some online role playing games to play, or join a live role playing game group. Its perfect for stress relief. You get to act out your violent tendancies against an imaginary target instead of on people. It's a great stress reliever.
You can play Maple Story for free.
One of the best paid ones is World of Warcraft.
If you want to try out World of Warcraft, drop me a message and I'll send you a special account that you can use to play for a free trial.

do not let your parents see your journal or letters, keep them safely hidden somewhere they won't find it. Treat yourself every now and then but if you are angry about something, try and talk it out with someone like us here and maybe you'll feel better. If you talk to a counselor or therapist that would be good as well, but you could always talk to people on here for free.
Also, it's not good to bottle up your emotions because it's only hurting you and it makes everyone in the house jump so I would try to release it in healthier ways like talking it out or going to the beach. Seeing a favorite movie or dvd at home could work too, as well as some yoga.

May I suggest taking a walk and thinking about the issues before acting? If you can walk a little and think though things, you may find it is not so important after all. Remember most of what is important today, will be forgotten in a year. I often wish I had a 5 second delay on my tongue to allow me to consider my words. This would save me a lot of grief. I wish you the best.

Physical exercise is one of the most effective ways of relieving stress. Exercising the body regularly is very effective in managing stress, on its own or as a part of a stress management plan. Getting into better shape improves your mental health as well as your physical health.
When we physically exert ourselves, the body releases chemical substances (endorphins) that are similar in nature to opiates. These natural substances produced by our own bodies are free of side effects, except for making us feel good.

How did you get into trouble writing letters? You didn't actually send them, did you? Whenever you write a letter to someone you are mad at, get it all out on paper and immediately destroy it.
Go to your room, close the door and beat the crap out of your pillow for about 5 minutes. No screaming, no ranting or raving. Take it all out on the pillow. I promise after 5 minutes, the anger will have subsided and you'll be exhausted. That way you won't get into trouble and you won't take it out on someone else.

I do this same thing you do. So to get something out of me I do one of 3 things. 1. Go talk to somebody just a friend or somebody just to vent if not you are going to keep in and then where are you going to be. All angry and all upset inside. 2. Pray to whoever you beileve in. 3. Go take a walk, Go ride your Bike, Go get a way, Go take a breather, Basicly go have time to think of the situation of what you are upset about. Thats what I do. I hope this Helps.
If you need a friend to talk to just email me at ditzichick8@yahoo.com
