Dress nice and don't be afraid to ask her out. Don't overly flirt and don't pay attention to the girls who are all over other guys. I have a "friend" that is always flirting with a bunch of guys and you shouldn't find people like that attractive because the people like me are sitting there watching wishing you would come over and talk to us. I wish guys I knew would read this and understand that. The most important thing however is not to act like you are better than everyone.
It may just be easier to tell you what I like in a guy:
-clean and well groomed hair, body and clothing
-a sweet smile and personality
-someone who will sit there and talk to just me and not look at other girls
-someone who will not make me like them and then just dissapear (someone who intends to actually go out)
-not a rich person but not someone who will take me to the movies and ask me to pay (I will pay but I would rather have him tell me that he doesn't have any money right now and if we go out it has to be cheap or I will have to buy that one; that wouldn't make me like him any less, just respect him more)
-most of all, a nice inosent guy who wont push me to do anything I don't want to do

You have to be yourself. Also helps if ur kinda hott. Dont be shy. Just talk to them. You dont have to act all tough and act like everyone else. Just do what you do best. Talk to the girl, get to know her, learn about her. Girls like when the guy actually talks to them and listens to them.

I'm guessing your a guy and im a girl ,well i know that im a grl. Any way if you want to get a girl and want to ask her our dont be all up in her face and be like "hey you wanna go out" out that creeps us out. First start a friendly relationship w/ her start talking to her casualy. After a while once your confident catch her after class or some where privte and be like "hey i like you and i wnted to know if you would like to go out sometime" and if she says yes after a while when you realy want to ask her out say "hey i like where this relationship is going and i wanted to know if you wanted go go out with me" Us girls dont like to be rushed so take it slow.
