RICE KRISPIE TREATS
Ingredients:
1/4 c Margarine or butter
1 pk 10 oz. mini marshmallows
6 c Rice Krispies
Prep:
Melt Margarine in large deep pan over low heat. Add marshmallow and stir
until completely melted. Remove from heat add Rice Krispies and stir until
they are well coated. Using buttered spatula press mixture into buttered
pan 13x9x2. Cut when cool.
VARIATION: Stir in 1/4 cup of peanut butter into marshmallow mixture
before cereal is added. You could also use colored marshmallows too.

This is the recipe I follow, they turn out delicious everytime!!
6 cups Rice Krispies
3 tablespoons butter
1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Remove from heat.
(It would be perfect to be measuring out all of the cereal at this time, having it ready in a large bowl.).
Working quickly, add rice krispies cereal, and stir until the cereal is well coated.
Using a buttered spatula or waxed paper, press the mixture evenly into a greased 13 by 9 by 2 inch pan (or whatever pan you have on hand).
When the treats are cooled, cut into squares. Enjoy!

The Quickest way is to take a large microwave proof bowl and toss in the bag of marshmallows with the butter. Zap it for less than 2 minutes or until marshmallows are very soft and billowy. Stir down butter and melted marshmallows.
Add the 5 or 6 cups of crisped rice and stir until coated.
Butter a 9 x 13 pan. Scrap mix into pan. Butter your very clean hands and press gently spreading the mix into an even layer.
Let cool. Enjoy.

melt a half stick of butter, unsalted, with a pack of mini marshmallows, on low heat. when it gets liquid, stir in krispies gently and press mixture into a greased pan of appropriate dimensions
