i've got lotion on it and put lotion on it about every two hours, maybe in less time. but is there suppose to be bits of color coming off. with the dry lotion. i have no idea what i'm looking at. lol but black is coming "off". yet the tattoo is very bright and looks gorgeous, so i have no idea what this "color" is coming from. when did you stop putting lotion on it btw. the instruction sheet i got said 4-5th day...i just do NOT want to ruin this tat.

when did you get the tattoo? for the first day or two there should be some extra ink coming off and that is totally normal. just keep washing it daily with antibacterial soap and putting whatever your artist told you to apply to it. i don't think you should be applying lotion to it every two hours or more. it should be more like 4 times a day. you don't want to over satruate your new tattoo. i keep lotion on my tattoo for the full two weeks. tho after it has finished peeling i only apply about twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.

Thats the normal healing process. The excess ink comes of with the lotion. Don't worry you are doing okay. There will be some color fade but your tat artist can touch it up later.

The black your seeing is the scab with bits of color. Its normal and only if there is spots that the color lifts alot then you worry, but the sounds of it you should be doing ok and have a great looking tattoo.

stop putting so much lotion on it. a very thin THIN layer is required 2-3 times a day.
what your tat needs is AIR.
Everything you describe sounds normal.

Dont worry, thats the normal healing process. Its the access ink peeling off your top layer of skin. It can get very very itchy but dont pick at it or scratch it!! Let it come off on its own.
But dont worry, this is 100% normal.

It's normal to have colored scabs that peel off. The main skin will still have the whole and brightly-colored picture.

that coclor is blood and a little ink. Its completely normal for a little blood and ink to leak out.
