Most convertibles have very low centers of gravity, and thus, rarely roll over. When they do, most newer models (and older models from safety conscious manufacturers) have a roll bar that will deploy when the vehicle is tilted beyond a certain point. Some cars have a roll bar permanently built into place (think volkswagen convertibles), and many have reinforced windshields that are strong enough (supposedly) to support theweight of the vehicle and hold the occupants away from the ground.

Fortunately, most of the weight of a convertible is below the belt line, so the odds of a rollover are WAY slim, but if it does happen, you are pretty well done for without a roll bar.

Stronger seats - possibly pop up roll bars or the chrome loops that you see are for roll protection- stronger windshields - seatbelts plus it's incredibly rare to roll a sports car the centre of gravity is much lower - it's SUV's that roll not small flat cars

You have found the big drawback to a convertible. Nothing really prevents you from getting squished in a roll over accident.

properly you could have a roll bar at the back of your head. In my convertible Boxster, I quite have a production facility OEM roll bar. The Mazda Miata additionally has it. yet what are the probabilities of flipping over? in spite of in case you change the guidance wheel sharp at 100mph, you will only slide sideways, no longer turn over. video clips tutor many motor vehicle crashes the place autos turn over. yet that's only action picture magic. They placed hydraulic boosters decrease than the motor vehicle so as that it catapults them right into a turn. that's somewhat uncommon to take place in genuine existence. in case you have a desirable heavy motor vehicle like an SUV or minivan, there are extra desirable probabilities of flipping over on condition that they attempt turning sharp at an somewhat severe speed.

depending on what kind of car it is, not all cars have roll bars.... not very many.
if not wearing seat belt you'd get ejected from the car, the car could roll onto you and CATCH ON FIRE and you will burn and slow slow death. or you could be decapitated
dude, wierd question. i mean, just use your imagination or watch the movie final destination

They will be dead.

Yes.
Not alive.
Gone to heaven (or hell, depends if they were good or bad, assuming the fact they have a convertible, bad.)

Usually they either die or they are thrown out and then they get banged up or die too. Most don't have roll bars.

If your seatbelt is off and you don't have a rollbar you're screwed.
