you cant choose which body part to lose weight off, it has to be overall weight loss.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

I've been trying to lose fat in these places as well. I've been walking two miles a day. I also do lunges, squats, crunches, and push ups in reps of 30(usually 2 or 3 reps), as well as lift eight pound weights. My legs, thighs, and butt have become firmer. I think you just have to do these over a period of time before you see major results.

To lose fat, more aerobic, calorie-burning exercise, less intake of fats and carbs. Maintain proper nutrition in terms of vitamins, minerals, proteins, a sensible level of carbs, and about 20%% of calories from fats & oils. Fill up on vegetables and fresh fruit, including unsweetened juices. Drink a glass of water before every meal to decrease your appetite a little. Good luck.

Doing aerobic exercises like swimming, rowing, walking helps in supplying enough oxygen to the body to burn fat. Fat is burned from all over the body, including the stomach. More information available at http://www.toloseweight.org/losestomachfat.html
