We believe that Jesus was God Incarnate. Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God Himself (whose true Name and Nature is unknown)(God is a title, not a name) are all three faces of ONE God. The Holy Spirit is the sprit aspect of God; it was sent as another comforter for Jesus's followers. Jesus was God in the flesh; all authority God has was given to Him, though Jesus WAS limited until He was crucified and then resurrected. God is God.
Jesus was 100% human...but He was also 100% God.
That is what we believe.
In order for Jesus to be in the flesh, God...divided Himself (that isn't really the right word, but it's close enough), and put that part of Himself in human form. So although Jesus was separate from God, He was still part of God, and actually WAS God.
It's like...well, here's an analogy, I am an aunt, a sister, and a daughter. Does this mean that I'm not the same person in each of those roles? Of course not. I'm still me.
I hope this makes sense.
Edit: Yes, that's exactly why Jesus was praying to "Himself." He was God, but He was separate from God. Another analogy is water: It can be frozen, or boiled into steam, or left alone, but it is still made of the same elements. That is what God did. He divided Himself (as a pot of water) and allowed one part to become human (or frozen into ice), but each part was still made of the same elements.
It was not until Jesus had been raised from the dead (the final sign as far as His Divinity) that He was allowed to become part of God again.
Think about it this way: Jesus Himself stated, in not so many words, that He was God, and that all authority given to God had been given to Him.
Either Jesus was a liar (which would make Him NOT a prophet OR a messenger of God), or He was crazy. Any psychologist would tell you that He wasn't crazy. As for being a liar, there were too many things He did which PROVED He was telling the truth, and those who wrote down these accounts gained nothing for doing so...except for a horrible death.

Christians believe in ONE God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of the Israelites.
In Genesis, when God talks about creation, he uses "Us". See Genesis 1:26. If you don't have a bible handy, go to www.biblegateway.com. I recommend reading the NIV or NLT translation.
The trinity is God the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. All one person.
God is the great I AM, the almighty.
Jesus was God in human form on earth to fulfill Old Testament prophecies about the messiah. He took God's punishment for all sin, before, during and after his lifetime on earth, for all who believe and trust in Him as their savior. Salvation through Jesus is a gift by God's grace.
The Holy Spirit is a Christian's helper, one who helps us worship, guides us away from wrong places, helps us pray and more.
It's a very difficult concept to grasp, I will agree with you. I encourage you to read the bible and pray, asking God to reveal Himself to you and answer your questions. God does not ask for blind ignorance and following. Ask Him questions earnestly and He will answer you.
For more explanation of the trinity, see the following passages: Mark 1:10-11 and Acts 1:4-5
www.biblegateway.com also has notes/commentary for explanations of passages.

1*1*1=1 not 1+1+1=3 God created his only incarnated son Jesus Christ so that he could experience the burden of sins in flesh form not in spirit form, so that human he could see who is actually GOD,

Ahmad,
God's ways are higher than ours, and God is able to communicate with you if you sincerely want Him to.
If you are willing to accept that in reality, if it is really true, that God is one with 3 attributes, then ask God to speak to you directly to open the eyes of your heart and let you understand supernaturally what the truth really is.
He loves you and wants to be your friend!

based, sure, yet by the years lots of theology has been greater previous that. The Bible is the beginning place, yet maximum Christian faiths have branched out and "fleshed out" teachings previous what the Bible says approximately some concerns.
