Any floral wholesaler should have stands for you to rent or buy ... there are a lot of wholesale sites which don't require membership or a tax ID number. Do a search on Yahoo! for floral wholesale and see what you find. Congrats and good luck!

Depending on what you are wanting to do with the centerpiece they are many different types out there. You could use a ivy bowl and cut them short with many flowers to bud. Otherwise, there is a long cylinder that you could use...with few or many flowers. If you are interested in buy them try Micheal's or JoAnn's. Make sure you get the 40% off coupon in every Sunday paper. Also craigslist is a good site. Best Wishes!

I assume you want your centerpieces to be elevated in the air high enough not to obstruct vision across the table. You will not find anything at any craft store that will do this. You'll have to go to a floral supply location. Most only sell to florists. Call different ones in your area for their policies. I don't know of any florist that will rent this type of thing, for you to make your own centerpieces. They may purchase them for you, if say, they do the corsages. Doesn't hurt to ask. I will tell you these elevated mechanics are not inexpensive, even wholesale.

Most floral shops actually rent out the stands alone! but, they may charge almost as much as if you just rent the whole pieces with the flowers. . . the best thing to do is TULLE BOWS! or buy glass "fishbowls" in bulk and put floating candles in with marbles or rose petals ~ much cheaper and gives a more modern look!
Good luck and congrats on the wedding!

Try Michael's they have everything you need to do your own flower centerpieces and bouquets. Also you can ask your local florist or you can go to the dollar store and buy small glass bowls and put floating candles in it.

You can make them out of every day items such as two cake pedestal plates, one turned upside down on top of the other makes a great pedestal stand for a centerpiece. You secure plates with double faced tape or florist putty.

Depends what kind you want. What about the place you are getting the flowers from? Ask them.
Go to your local florist and inquire as well.
Phone book might have some florist supplies places that may have them.
Good luck!

Check with your location site...many churches have their own that are available for you to use...mine does! Also, many florists rent them, just call around and check for availability and prices. Check with friends and family also....I know a lot of people who have those pillar like stands that you put plants on that look like architectural columns....I bet you could borrow some of those!
