find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

I am sure that you have done a mistake with the diet that you mentioned. Because if you do the no carb diet you should loose weight very fast. You probably know that food like fruit, diary, coffee, beans do contain carbs. This diet proposes that you eat fish, green salad, vegetables, and meat. If you have stayed righteous to this then there should be results, if not then try it. It's really hard but it's worth it. the results are more then quick. I once lost more then 20lbs in 2 weeks. But one thing that never worked for me was easy-get-off the diet. Whenever I stopped being on it I'd start eating carb-food all day long, and this would ruin all of the perfect diet results in just a few days.
I wish you a lot of luck and strength in this "battle".
p.s. Don't forget to workout a lot. More muscle mass spends more energy after a physical work. Drink a lot of water that will help resolve the fat and detoxify your body.

That no carb diet isn't as healthy as they say it is. You're much better off eating a variety of foods. Just remember that if it isn't whole grain or whole wheat, then it's probably a bad carb. Eliminating anything from your diet is unhealthy.
May is pretty close. If you do manage to lose 50 pounds by then, you probably won't be able to move, let alone have fun on your vacation. Just make it your last chubby vacation, make it a celebration, pig out, have a great time, and get it all out of your system. Then when you get back home, begin making small changes, day by day. The point is to change your lifestyle, not just your eating habits. If you go on a diet, the diet will end at some point, and the weight always comes back.

Try ear stapling. Most people, after the procedure, can lose anywhere from 10-30 pounds a month. The rate of weight you can loose is relative to your size. The more you weigh, the more quickly you will lose. No diet or exercise is required to achieve weight loss, however proper diet and exercise is recommended and will only increase the potential to achieve maximum results.

Check out weightmelter.net, they have excellent weight loss programs and products that really work. They helped me lose 30 pounds in 4 months 2 years ago, when all else failed. I'm sure that if you put your mind to it, you'll be able to get great results like I did. Believe me, it wasn't that hard with their weight loss program. Since I've lost the weight, I've been able to keep it all off.
