Starches have been used for glues for 100's of years.
Also flour based.

My Grandmother used egg white to glue her photographs in an album. I recall that they were always falling off the pages. Not particularly strong. If, by "extremely strong," you mean on a par with epoxies, or urea-formaldehyde glues, I'd have to guess it's impossible with common household food items.
