Open Word
clickFile, Open
-- at the bottom of the window, click the down arrow next to "filetype" and select Wordperfect
-- browse to the WP file then click Open

Word will open it.

If this gives you trouble, as of this writing, 4/4/07, there is a free, online conversion website at www.media-convert.com.

It is easy to use and does a good job.

Yes.

1. Open the Word Perfect document using Microsoft Word.
2. Save the document, changing the "save as type" box to ".doc"

In Word 2003, Go to File>Open and at the tottom of that little window click on the down-arrow next to "Files of type", choose the Word Perfect format you want to open, select the file and click on Open.

When you want to save it, File>Save, and under file type choose .doc instead of the format it's in.
