Whats the signs that a spirit is around or trying to contact you...?

I have heard of finding white feathers, electrical goods playing up.....anything else???

Okay i meant within a house.

Depends on the Area; Windows that are closed being carefully opened, and a Gust of wind that takes out the One candle in the room, just over the Ouija Board.
also Cold Spots in a room that appear to move on their own, and in a distinct pattern; Thats a few I have seen and felt.
In one Area, I know of events like things moved about by themselves. My Sister was fine about it. It scared me. And in one case, hearing distinct tapping on an inside wall from an area that no-one could get to... would take too long to explain that one ...

Aries, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Pisces and maybe even Aquarius.. or maybe any sign with significant 8th house and 12th house placements..! Paranormal activities and stories fascinate me as well... I'd love to try out the ouija board.. but I don't seem to be able to find it anywhere... Perhaps ebay would have one.. hmm.. I have been to a haunted house before, but found nothing, other then some fresh beer bottles lying around (obviously human activity)... I was scared though, even though I put on a brave face.. but well... We came out as soon as we found the beer bottles,. You never know what sort of people maybe living in there... And I have seen plenty of haunted movies but they don't scare me... BQ: Not really.. BQ2: whoa!!! I would be fascinated.. !! I get a REALLY loud buzzing in my ears when that happens here.

But there are so many signs.

Things going missing that you KNOW you just put down "there" and then turning up in the most random places is a good one.

Foot steps.

Hot or cold spots.

Odd light anomalies.

Shadows out the corner of your eye.

Go on to google hun there are some great sites that will tell you more.

Also I've been lead to believe that white feathers are actually Angels letting you know their around and looking after you :-)

A lot depends on the spirit itself. One way is to see lights (like a camera flash going off) out of the corner of your eye. Sometimes things will disappear, only to show up again later in a different place. There may be odd smells (like cookies, or patchouli, or exhaust fumes) in place they wouldn't normally be smelled. Also, if they're trying to get your attention for a specific issue, you might find bruises on your thighs or arms that don't hurt when you touch them, and can't be anywhere you'd have bumped yourself. (I usually get finger marks from a whole hand!)

Well I think you are writing about worldly spirits.

If I see a monster/ demonic spirit vision I ask God about it. I don't want to talk to them. So I bind them with weights, in the name of my Lord Jesus (& attention is on my God), & say that it is thrown into the deep sea to be there until judgment day. I just did that the night before last, & I saw a vision of my Lords arm pointing/ directing that the demon be bound & thrown into the sea. This demon didn't just look icky but felt icky. I hate to feel them also.

"Spirits are demons of Satan looking for opportunities to inhabit your life. Can't happen without your cooperation, which is an act of invitation. Forget the happen chance stuff. Undeniable annoyance will be visited upon you. You can be sure you will know it.

The poster named 'sleeper' was being harsh, but his point is good. If you think you are being contacted by 'spirits', then you are either being deceived or you are self-deluded. Spirits, ghosts, goblins, poltergeists, fairies, demons, angels, trolls, vampires and leprechauns do not exist. They have never existed, anywhere or at any time. Never. None. Zero. If they did exist, we would have proven it thousands of years ago when the majority of people actually BELIEVED this nonsense and before education was generally available...

Sure...demonic spirits can even make plates fly through the house. But I wouldn't play their games. It can be very unsettling when it's time to go to sleep. It can also make it more difficult to hear from the Holy Spirit.

These are all just superstitions. Spirits of the dead are at rest. They do not try to contact people. The only thing that would ever try to contact you is a demon posing as a "harmless" spirit of the dead, so that it can get control of you. Be very careful here, you are treading on dangerous ground.
