That is tough when you look at passages in the old testament where David and others were commanded to kill babies and children God does it directly killing every Egyptian first born Ex.12-29-30

There is a verse in one of the gospels that says if a person does something to lead a little one astray it will be better for them to have tied a millstone around their neck and be cast into the depths of the sea.

There is no such verse, however, we know that God especially loves children "Suffer the children to come to me...". We can use that verse along with the verse that says "Whatsoever you do to the least of these, you do unto me".
