You sound like a true alcoholic. Maybe u drink as a form of self medication and after you medication wears off or as u put it "ur head clears" Your problems reappear and then ur depressed. If u want to avoid those feelings... quit drinking. U won't be missing much!!! U should also get professional help because alocholism is a disease.

My fiancee is an alcoholic and bipolar. Your symptoms maybe be not just being an alcoholic but possibly bipolar too. I think that you should check with your doctor and have it checked out. My fiancee goes through bingeing and after that, he detoxes and gets depressed for days. He's on antidepressant(Welbutrin) but when he drinks, he stops taking it and goes into a depression because of the bipolar. I hope that you do get the help that you need.

If you know you have this problem why do you continue drinking? You need to stop. It sounds like you may be an alcoholic, and you get depressed because you need help.

I have similar issues. I decided once and for all I was going to quit drinking this past Monday. If your not already depressed, alcohol will get you there, so please find a way to quit.
