Yes, I use it. The Doctor recommended it to me and I've used it for about 2 years. If I stop using it , my acne comes back.
I have tried a couple of times so I know that is what happens.
If it keeps my skin clear it's worth it to me.

Good luck

I used proactive for a while it took a long time to work and when I'd miss a day it would all come back and it would be two weeks before it would be better.
I've turned to acne free and love it
it doesn't completely take acne way but really really helps
and it 's like 25 dollars for three months
I also take b6 vitamins every day nothing special just from your grocery store and my skin id doing great I don't think I'll even wear make up today
I know what your going through it horrible
two soothing things I've found for sore skin is a cooked oatmeal mask or which hazel it's cheap and feels great

Use Acne-Free, it really works and it is cheap. I have used it for about a year and will never go with anything else. It is like a dream come true! Proactiv DOES NOT WORK!

You dont need to spend money on that..

Here is a simple solution

Green Wintergreen Rubbing Alcohol....just put some one a tissue and rub your face, you'll be amazed at how much dirty comes off on the tissue and its only like 89 cents a bottle

Then

Fungus foot creme..Yep..Foot cream for spot treatments..the bacteria killing ingredient in it is stronger than most acne meds.

My hubby use to have bad acne and now doesn't at all and my new teenage daughter follows this treament and she is always clear

ditto for my friend. She does it and still has break outs and acne, but when she stopped using it, the acne got worse than what she had prior to starting proactive.

it works different for everyone i suppose

My sister used to use it, she had horrible acne, and it helped her tremendously, but I think that everything works differently on everybody..because it was too much for me...I never had any serious acne

My step-daughter used it and it only helped a little. What helped her more was using birth control pills (Yasmin) She has been on this for a year and her skin has cleared up wonderfully.

I've used it since I was 16. I'm 22 now and I don't go anywhere without it. I'm sorry it hasn't worked for you. I know how frustrating that can be.

I think it works pretty good.

Also at wal*mart the clearasil astringent is only $5 and that works wonders
