One of my guy friends, who has a long-term girlfriend, thinks that I like him. We always talk on the instant chat thing on our cellphones and I wasn't doing it intentionally but I think he got the idea that I'm jealous of him and his girlfriend. He asked me today if I was jealous, and I asked of what am I supposed to be jealous of and that I don't get jealous easily, and he said "I'm just kidding" and changed the subject. Does that mean he likes me?

you might want to be careful. are you jealous? do you maybe have a thing for him? if not has he always been faithful to his girlfriend? he might just be looking for a fling, or he might just be worried that if you do have something for him, he might for you. there is so many options to think about, most likely, he is just currious, men alot of times look for that little ego boost. from knowing that more then one girl likes them. some men look for that person that they have trust with, and try to get something they shoulden't. and other times, someone might have always liked someone else, and they say a chance to quitly let the other one know, and try to see if the feeling is the same all aroung..... if you like him, and he likes you you cant change fate, but be careful you gont get or give off the wrong impression. it can make things weird and you never want to loose a friend.

Doesn't sound like he likes you but I know from experience that when someone says "what do I have to be jealous of" they are usually jealous. That's the number one statement jealous people use as a defense. Otherwise you'd just say "no, I'm not jealous, I wish you guys nothing but the best". Sounds to me like you like him and hate that he has a gf.

He is a man, don't read into the question because there was no hidden meaning to it. You did or said something that made him believe you are jealous. If you said no, he'll accept that unless you do something else to make him think it again.

maybe. He said it , because if you had a boyfriend he would be jealous . It means he likes you and he thinks you do it too . say him you know he has a girl friend and you are not jealous ...

Hmm, I would think, that his girlfriend is jealous and he is asking you the question just to see what her reation might be, but you never know, your friends that is an indication that he likes you in some way.

yes he likes you. Guys like the chase tho, even though he is taken and your the bf that makes it a little hotter. Dont go for it, just create some space between you and him, and do things to tighten up your friendship with your friend, so he will start to see you as off limits and you wont look like the bad guy if something does go wrong with their relationship.

I don't think he's jealous, I think the thought you were. Give him a little more space and time with his girlfriend. You're probably making them both a little uncomfortable.

Maybe his girlfriend is jealous of you two, and he's getting in trouble for it. Or, he's just trying to see your reaction, if you'd be willing to go to the next level.

That doesn't have to mean anything, maybe he was talking about it with his girlfriend, and she got a wrong idea, so she started bugging him and stuff like that. Don't worry about it. Anyhow, the point is that the real question is DO you like him.

To me, it sounds like he doesnt want you to like him. Not to sound mean or anything. I've had that happen. So, in my opinion, just keep being friends and dont let that bother you. Think of it as a conversation the two of you had. And if you do like him just tell him.. hey I like you but I want you to be happy with your girlfriend.
