The religion has nothing to do with human been behaviour, the religion is good and clean and clear and people do not listen to the real scripture and they interpret the holly words as they like, the darkness is in people and from people not in religion or from religion.

Call it false religion: Religion that doesn't do what it's supposed to.

For instance, when the Bible tells Christians to love their enemy, can they legitimately take part in war, by joining the army or blessing soldiers and weapons?

When the Bible discourages the use of images in worship, can Christians legitimately use the cross or statues in the religious services and in their churches?

When the Bible encourages all Christians to preach the good news of God's kingdom for free, can they legitimately hire a small group of men to do it for them while they sit there and do nothing?

When the Bible teaches a strict moral code, can religious leaders legitimately move sexual offenders to another parish and not put them out of the church all together?

When Christian religions do not teach from the Bible, their supposed main text book, the light from that book can't shine on them. Therefore, they become centres of darkness.

(I'm afraid I can't explicitly comment on other religions. However, I understand that certain individuals and organisations within them are prone to corrupting their true teachings, and these are likely to be in spiritual darkness also.)

You may find the information in this website quite enlightening.

Light a candle cast a shadow

thats why the candles have to be in a high place to show the most light

but no matter what there will always be darkness but that does not mean it is a bad thing
also you know how something is ligit the actual truth like the bible if there attemps to make it seems fake and discredit it

Because Satan hates the one true religion of Jesus Christ and uses his human followers, i.e. the secularists, atheists and false religionists to attack the Truth and try to deceive people.
These are the real powers of darkness that continually attempt to snuff out the Light of the World, Our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, the slaves of Satan (who unconsciously do his bidding) are everywhere, including the yahoo answers, religious category.
"Those who are not with Me are against Me."
"I am the way, the truth and the life. no one can come to the Father except through Me"

Because it is not an exact science, and there aren't always concrete or reliable facts to back up the beliefs of individuals; because faith in anything, requires that you believe in something you can't see, touch, taste, smell, or query; because the subject stirs up emotions and passions in individuals that are not always pleasant; because we have the fortune of believing what ever we want to and nothing that we don't; because religion doesn't have all the answers to our questions; because people have done bad things to other people in the name of religion; because when bad things happen we look for answers and they aren't always there; because people have been hurt, neglected, abused, unloved and have been lead to believe that religion will make everything better, protect us from pain, alleviate suffering, move mountains - and it doesn't, and we feel let down, disappointed, empty, alone, abandoned and forgotten. That's what I think. Cheers.

Because everything in its most base forms are light and dark. religion is about humanity's attempt to understand everything so at least 1/2 of this must be dark since darkness is one of the primordials

The kingdom of God is compared to a seed that grows into a great tree and then the birds come. I don't know why it attracts so many birds of all kinds.

Because just as religion(s) have brought hope and light to many people, religion(s) have also brought darkness and misery. There is darkness out there in the world, that's just the way life is.

Because some people choose to see it that way, as if it's a burden. It depends on the way you look at it, or from what religion you're in.

Could be because satisfying intellectual answers to question are not important until the questions are inculcated in them. Their is no need until religion sales them on the idea their is a need.

In other words the questions that religions ask are irrelevant and unimportant to the masses.
