laughs out loud afterwards that it does not please me, (even though others in the restaurant laugh with her). I don't want to offend her and we really love each other. Should i just ignore it and laugh along with her?

i think you are being too harsh on her. its the little things in life that counts. at least you know she is comfortable with you, or she wouldnt be doing that. next time it happens, i suggest you join in on the fun and have a good old fashioned farting competition right in the restaurant. what are they gonna say? there are never any signs that say no shirt no shoes no farting.

I'd say that the only restaurant we'd be visiting would be the drive through at mcdonald's.

If your question isn't a joke, then your girlfriend certainly is. She is a bit too old to think something like that is funny. I certainly wouldn't be taking her to anymore restaurants.
