God will say "the punishment for being honest with yourself and nevertheless not submitting to my will is everlasting torture. You did this to yourself for being unable to recognize that I'm anything other than logically impossible (so it really doesn't make sense that I'm speaking to you now and in all likelihood I'm nothing more than a misfiring of your dying synapses)."

If the Christian God is real, I hope that I'll go to hell.
A God that would torture people for not believing in him is a God that I don't want anything to do with.
...
You probably think I'm "just being a jerk," but that is an honest answer.

Hypothetically if the christian view is correct, afterlife will depend completely on how god judges people. If it is based on morality, and the character of your "soul". I don't follow the first 3 commandments, as they apply directly to the faithful, but beyond that I haven't gone against the rest. So if god is real and all knowing, he would know I had the best intentions, and simply wasn't blessed with faith, so I think would forgive and accept me into heaven. However if god judges purely on christian dogma, and is unforgiving and understanding of those he did not bless with faith he would surely send me to hell.

This is the billionth time this question has been asked. And I think we're all getting sick to death of answering it.
But fine, I'll do it again. I'm going to have to set up a saved wordpad on this so that I don't have to type it all out every time someone asks this question.
A: If your god is as loving as you say he is, then he'd accept a heartfelt apology. If he isn't, and sends me to hell anyway, then I'd rather be in hell with my family (since according to all you Christians, thats where we're all headed anyway) than basking in the eternal glory of your selfish and hateful god.

It wouldn't be good. But I'm having a hard time believing that everyone who lived in the time before Christianity all went to a place called Hell simply for being born in the wrong era.

Ok i will use my imagination and assume the Christian God is real (while answering this). I wont worship him because he is a tyrant and a bully, therefore i will go to hell, and welcome it. I wouldn't want to go to heaven to live an eternity with a god like that.

Fortunately I don't have to worry about the Christian god being real.

If the christian god is the same as his followers make him out to be, I will be going to hell.

IF god exists and IF the Christians are interpreting the Bible correctly, I'm going to Hell.
Frankly, I'm not worried.

I can't answer this, without being a jerk.
Because my honest answer would offend you.
Here goes anyway.
The Christian god is mentally ill and a sadist.
( I mean, come on look what he did to Jesus
and that was his son).
So everyone goes to hell, (even Christians).
